Amazing training experience
I am a freelance Hair Makeup Artist working mainly in TV Film and being able to barber has become increasingly important in my career I had previously done short courses to teach me the basics for continuity management but soon realised that having the NVQ qualification would give me the in-depth training I wanted to enable me to confidently execute any haircut that I may be faced with I first approached Jordan at Dilla Fades to do a taster course I absolutely loved it and those couple of days secured my decision to do the qualification Jordan was understanding of my unusual and ever changing working pattern and flexible in terms of a payment plan both aspects allowed me to go ahead and balance the learning with my work The vibe in the shop academy the patient tailored focus from the educators and the live practical element gave me the skills I needed and the whole experience was amazing The team are more like a family and I am now lucky enough to not only continue my barbering with a seat in the shop and ongoing mentoring from THE BEST but also to put my business skills to use by working with Jordan and his team I cannot recommend Dilla Fades Training Academy and its team highly enough

Amazing training academy
Jordan is not only an amazing barber but an amazing teacher I did a barbering course 7 years ago but lost my confidence I decided to take on the 12-week course at Dilla Fades at the start of January which I ve just completed He makes learning easy and will guide you step by step on haircuts He won t throw you in a deep end and he will make time for each and every one of his trainees If we re ever nervous doing a haircut he will be there by your side I have gained my confidence back and learnt so much in the 12 weeks He will even help you find a placement at a barbers I highly recommend taking on this course for those who want to start a career

Best training academy in Manchester
When you train somewhere that has a wealth of experience and is invested in their students you can always tell the difference I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to advance their skills in TV and film or looking for a career on barbering You won t find a more supportive academy

BEST COURSE AROUND
I ve recently finished and passed my Level 2 barbering course with Dilla Fades after absolutely 0 experience barbering and after just 3 months i m now confidently working in a busy barbershop which was sourced for me by the staff at Dilla Fades who continue with aftercare even after you finish the course Really welcoming approachable group of people and the teaching is tailored to you and your level of skill Couldn t recommend the place anymore

I took on the 12 week training and
I took on the 12 week training and still have not finished yet Jordan and the teams patience understanding and support continues The training doesn t stop once your weeks come to an end I have also never been to a work place that feels so tight knit either so from the get go you are made to feel like part of the Dilla fade family I highly recommend I couldn t have asked for better teachers

Great course well worth it
I work as a hair and makeup artist for film tv I felt like I needed to refresh update my barbering so I did a 1-2-1 session with Jordan to revisit my skills and learn new ones I had a great day and learned so much- Jordan is an excellent teacher very clear and easy to follow He gave me some great advice on equipment too At the end of the day he gave me a pdf of everything we d covered during the session and pointers on how to improve techniques We had a great selection of models- they have a brilliant database of guys who come in regularly The shop itself has a great vibe super friendly- everyone who works there is great and very supportive when you re learning If you re considering learning barbering here I would highly recommend it whether it s to have a bit of a refresh like I did or do the longer course

I booked a 121 barbering session with Jordan and loved the experience It s given me the extra skills and confidence which I really needed to take forward into the MAU industry I work in It s always good to learn new skills and keep on top of your craft and this was perfect Jordan was a great teacher easy to follow patient and very thorough and made it really fun Thankyou guys
