Don t buy Gorenje
I bought a Gorenje induction stove in 2009 for about NOK 12 000 Over the past several months the stove has increasingly been flashing E6 error on the burners and some of the burners refuse to turn on The repair service simply by looking at the flashing lights estimated a repair price of almost NOK 6000 I realized then that this was not an uncommon problem with Gorenje stoves and I contacted Gorenje since this was clearly a manufacturing flaw Gorenje s response was simply that they are not legally responsible for their products outside the 5 year warranty period and they did not offer any further suggestions That s the worst customer service I have ever seen by an appliance manufacturer which further indicates that they receive many complaints on the quality of their products

Gorenje dishwasher
We have had a Gorenje dishwasher for about two years and no matter what we do it simply cannot clean the dishes unless they are completely spotless when they go into it We have it correctly installed with water hardness we use the best tablets and clean the filter on a weekly basis On top of not cleaning the dishes the tray for the cutlery is very rough to pull out and push in and has even broken at one point We have had a Gorenje technician look at it several times to no avail They even confirm that everything is in order It would honestly be easier to clean the dishes by hand since they are impossible to clean once they have been dried for hour when not being clean The worst dishwasher we have ever had Don t ever buy one

Gorenje washing machine dishwasher and refrigerator
We bought a new washing machine dishwasher and refrigerator from Gorenje in 2018 a few months after the 2 year warranty the washing machine broke down technical support told os it would cost around DKK 2 500 to repair it 3 weeks later my dishwasher also broke down I contacted Gorenje and asked for help and told them about my concern at next time it may be my fridge will break down but they did not take responsibility for it Dishwasher was not good at all No matter what we do it simply cannot clean the dishes We have it correctly installed with water hardness we use the best tablets and clean the filter often On top of not cleaning the dishes I am so disappointed both for the quality of Gorenje machines and their customer service Even though I said I could not afford to pay for service they did not take responsibility

Life simplified Really
Gorenje s logo strapline states Life Simplified - what a joke If you are unlucky enough like us to have bought a Gorenje induction hob model no IT1141AC 111cm x 41cm and it fails you are in for a shock A burning smell came from the hob which caused an outage to all the ground floor sockets of our house After we turned the hob back on two out of four plates wouldn t work The two remaining plates worked but a burning smell still persisted so we now can t use any hobs We contacted Gorenje but their customer service is useless - informed us they don t produce this model hob or hobs in this size anymore only up to 90cm width ours we purchased from them is 111cm and all other brands of induction hobs on the market are up to 90cm so we now have a hole in our work top too big to accommodate any other hob available Gorenje have advised we need to buy a PCB unit full priced at 510 plus fitting Why would we spend that much when we have no confidence in this product now We have also been quoted 1 400 to replace our quartz overlay worktop just so we can accommodate a new hob all because of Gorenje s terrible design decisions of making a one off size hob on the market Livid We looked at the damage and a component is burned within an inch of its life Fire hazard We have no option but to buy their parts or fit a new worktop so you can fit another hob Joke of a company Gorenje have now re-branded as Hisense so beware buying from that company as well

New freezer power consumption 1 3 more than stated Bought a new freezer combination Consumption according to Gorenje 244kWh per year actual consumption approx 380kWh per year at the lowest setting i e refrigerator at 8c and freezer at -16c Checked by Gorenje customer service according to Gorenje everything ok such deviations are apparently normal Not recommended power consumption figures unrealistic

Washer dryer--8 hour per normal load of clothes
Washer dryer--takes way too many hoursReceived washer dryer in a luxury apartment Most of the cycles moves move items around but does not actually wash anything The standard wash cycles for cottons one of the few cycles that that does wash takes three hours Using 1 tab of soap requires at least one extra rinse to get the soap out Another 17 minutes Drying is normally near three hours if it is dry enough the first time around Thinking that this saves any environment or power or money is an oxymoron

Last month I bough a Gorenje dishwasher but it was so bad Even the 1 star is too much for this product The dishes are not clean even after 3 hours The door doesn t open automaticallyWe contact the company were we bought this dishwasher and they send us many technicians they didn t find a technical issue They only said it doesn t clean and there is no technical problem

I bought a gorenje dishwasher after dishwater right from beginning it had issues initially the door wasnt closing they send a technician to fix it it was ok for 2 days again back to same old position its been hardly a month and this is the condition no wthey are saying no spare parts for the machine
