Rip-off spare parts prices
Lost a cable when my multi gym was dismantled during house move Emailed DKN UK about a replacement but they did not reply Emailed DKN European headquarters who did reply Quoted 50 for cable Machine cost less than 400 delivered How can one part cost more than 10 of the cost of the whole machine Pretty poor customer support

No support and now left with bike I cannot use
I own a bike of them DKN am5i My advice stay away One of the pedal bend in the crank after a few days of use I contacted DKN via their support email No response ever The retailer I bought from sweatband was so kind to help me and send replacement parts I was happy for about 2 5 years Then the same problem started acting up again Again I contact DKN Again no answer I contacted sweatband now no response either I have contacted them twice now Complete silence So basically if you buy a DKN product and it goes wrong at some point you can basically write of your investment I now have a bike I cannot use Thank you very much DKN I will avoid you when buying future fitness equipment I recommmend everyone to do the same Non existing support means you lose your money eventually

Exercise Bike
Exercise bike arrives as expected Assembley was reasonably straightforward but I had a small screw left over Needing to reassure myself that I had not made a mistake and want to ask for advice over the various pre-set programmes I called Customer Services Advice was given and I was told that the screw had probably come from somewhere else I was surprised to be charged over 5 on my next telephone bill Apparently they use a premium rate line They have ignored subsequent emails A company best avoided

DKN and Sweatband Avoid these companies
I have had a recumbent bike for a couple of years to aid recovery of a knee op Great until it goes wrong The UK distributors Sweatband is a third rate company Their customer service is absolutely non-existent No spare part availability no tech back up no repair service on offer I now have 1100 pile of junk going to the tip Avoid this company and their product There are more deserving companies Steve B weston super mare

Terrible company to deal with
Terrible company to deal with They won t reply to my emails and their phone line is constantly busy I need replacement parts to fix 2 of their 799 dkn eclipse spin bikes and I can t find them anywhere Stay well clear or if you purchase of them be prepared to have a machine worthless to you if it ever needs repaired

Avoid Will Not Provide Service Support
I purchased one of their exercise bikes second hand The bike worked very well for just under 6 months until the left pedal became loose Upon inspection the threading inside the left crank arm had worn away When attempting to contact them no one ever answered the phone and they took a week to respond to my email They asked me to provide the serial number model number a photo and description of the problem and copy of the original sales invoice I was able to provide the first three but not the original sales invoice as I was not the original purchaser I had to chase them twice and after a week they finally responded Someone called Iwona sent me the following Dear XXX Thank you for your email and for the serial number It is important to remember that pedal threads are different from left side and right side The right side pedal has a right-hand thread removes counterclockwise installs clockwise The left side pedal has a left-hand thread removes clockwise installs counterclockwise If you are unable to provide proof of purchase we are unable to send a replacement pedals and cranks I am sorry for the inconvenience Have a nice day Kind regardsIwona What exceptionally outrageous service this company provides Avoid at all cost All consumer products require maintenance and spare parts from time to time and this company will not engage if you require help As another reviewer has written avoid unless you want to deal with an unusable machine at some point down the line

Aftersales customer service non-existent
I bought one of their exercise bikes as part of rehab for a leg injury in 2020 One of the cables was quite delicate and poorly made and snapped on me I contacted DKN twice about getting a replacement part and both times they didn t even have the courtesy to reply to my email This is despite the fact that they have responsibilities under consumer law to remedy these situations and the product is also under warranty They make decent products but honestly I d avoid them like the plague if possible As I ve found out they are a nightmare to even get in contact with if anything goes wrong Just to note I ordered my bike from the eu site

Waste of time and money
Terrible experience I purchased a second hand DKN XC140i treadmill which is less then 1 year old the motor blew mashine now is showing a fault E5 We ve been refused the manufacturer warranty as we are not the original owner and now It s impossible to get spare parts from this guys as they do not answer the emails Please avoid it as this is a major scam Terrible company to deal with

DKN EzRun Motor failed - no after sales service
Avoid this company I purcahsed a DKN EZRUN treadmill the motor has failed after 3 years I contacted the compnay and they have told me the warranty is only for 2 years I replied saying that the motor is gone and surely this should have a 5 year warranty - some companies offer a 10 year warranty for their motors It takes them 4 days to reply - It is just not a great company to work with if you have any problems I am surprised they are allowed to trade like this From my own personal experience - stay away there are other high quality fitness products and companies out there that will offer proper after sales service
