What a poor company this is
What a poor company this is I called them to notify them that my dishwasher had broken down the water was not leaving the machine They asked when I noticed the fault and I explained when I returned home after being out for the day but mentioned that I also had a power cut which was easily rectified They without looking or sending an engineer to verify the problem have turned it down on the basis of it having been caused by the power failure I am so impressed by their ability to assess the fault from an office 200 miles away without any other form of diagnostic equipment I am so impressed that on this basis can they please give me Saturdays numbers for the lottery Have informed them I will be cancelling my policy and will find a company with higher standards and better customer care than they have I feel they give cowboys a bad reputation i y

awful company
We have been a client with DWS for more than 11 years We NEVER claimed aback from them All of a sudden they more than doubled the price of my coffee without informing me I became aware of the incredible price increase from my bank as they draw my attention that the direct debit was modified DWS customer service were no near willing to be reasonable instead we feel that their behaviour was very mean and deceive We immediately cancelled our insurance with them

Do NOT use Domestic Warranty Shop
It is no more than I expected that my reasonable request to resolve my refund was roundly ignored I have waited for 24 hours since I was led to expect a phone call from management to talk through this I think this matter reflects badly on DWS and particularly their management which seems to have a different meaning from my understanding I will now approach the bank to see if we can resolve this theft for it is that We were told we could no longer insure our appliance via DWS due to its age but the money was taken anyway for no product and no reply to the several phone calls and emails I am sure it will not unduly worry DWS that I have submiited this finding as they will ignore it like they have my constant queries It appears that I am not alone with thsi kind of treatment at DWS

HAVE POLICY BUT CANT SPEAK TO ANYONE CLOSE TO CANCELING
Hopless i cant speak to anyone about my policy just get passed onto overflow that cant wont help gettimg close to cancelling get cover from sky Am told by sky have cancelled just didnt seem competent on phone when they eventually phoned

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I have been trying to speak to them reference cancelling my policy for months repeatedly left messages via their call minder system no reply Have also emailed no reply Am still paying the direct debit as don t want a missed payment to affect my credit score

Moved over from domestic and general
Moved over from domestic and general because prices had gone up and domestic warranty shop do a Multi-plan that works out cheeper A few things to keep in mind If you only want 1 appliance on the deal it can work out more expensive in the long run if you make a lot of claims And also there is a cooling down time and if your appliance brakes down in this time you won t be covered But if you get passed this point then they really are very good The staff are lovely and very willing to help Lewis and Peter are a pleasure to speak to and will go above and Beyond to make sure they do everything they can to get things moving as soon as possible Please also keep in mind that if you get insurance on your appliance from new that this only covers for accidental damage and not break down until you re out of manufacturers warranty meaning that if the appliance has not been accidentally damaged then you will have to go back to the manufacturer And you might not get a engineer out as fast as you would with the Domestic warranty shop please check with your manufacturer to make sure you know what is covered So far my experiences have all been good and I m more than satisfied with the service that I have received from domestic Warranty shop I have had my washing machine replaced and had more then enough support when my new one that s only 5 months old broke down Phone lines are normally pretty fast unless it s a Monday as domestic warranty shop is not open on the weekend For someone who is disabled like my self Domestic warrantee shop has been a godsend thank you

Fast repair
Fast repair called as my tumble dryer broke down and an engineer attended in 1 day He revisited 3 days later to fit the part and now its working good as new

First claim with DWS
Recently made my first claim with these guys for the grill on my cooker after switching from d g a few years back Absolutely brilliant engineer was out to us the day after calling and he came back and fitted parts the next Class service cannot fault them Cheers guys

Excellent service
Excellent service I have been with larger companies before and it takes them up to 3 weeks even for a repair appointment Plus I had a machine repaired so much that it was practically rebuilt would never replace it Domestic warranty shop have in just over a week and a half sent out a repair man condemned my machine and new one arriving this Thursday I can t not fault there service quick easy no complications or filling forms Will 100 being staying with them and using in the future

Remaining with DWS for another year
Initially my quote for 2023 24 was 74 more than last year however after negotiating with DWS and agreeing to send the premium as a one-off annual payment my cover has remained at the same level for virtually the same price as last year
