I don t trust them anymore
Since I got a reply from Dukascopy one year and a half later since I wrote the original review at the bottom I will update My review should be even worse I again have access to my account frozen without any reason and or warning whatsoever The only difference now is that I do not care anymore since I and fed up of them Anyway I will investigate the legality of doing so since I cannot even get my statements I paid for a full term Visa and Mastercard a very expensive price and Dukascopy s card provider cancelled all cards with them and they did not even tell the customers and refuse to refund the money for the period more than half in which the cards aren t available any longer Also after having used my Visa banking card from another bank to fund my Dukascopy account 66 times yes sixty six they froze my operation until I sent them selfie with that card Bottom line Dukascopy is the shame of Swiss banking I wonder how they got a license what follows is my original review I opened my account at Dukascopy because they did not request personal attendance for this This feature is still scarce but for sure there will be plenty of banks offering this soon They imposed me a quite insignificant deposit limit and when I tried to deposit usd 20 over this amount they just blocked access to my account WITHOUT ANY WARNING WHATSOEVER for almost one month The officers just did not take proper care and rarely answered my claims until I told them that I was going to file a severe claim to the Financial Authority that regulates the bank then they restored my access right away The algorithms they use are biased and as incredible as it may sound if you have a fixed deposit limit in USD this fixed number changes all the time because their internal measure is NOT IN USD The result of this and I have several screenshots that prove this is that your fixed quarterly deposit amount is VARIABLE and you have to be guessing in order not to pass that limit or else have your account frozen for as long as they want as they did with mine The officers rarely respond to emails and although you are invited to send documentation for increases weeks go by and they just don t even look at it and don t give an answer either for yes or for no Everything here has a fee and some of the fees are outrageously expensive For example few days ago they incremented monthly Visa and Mastercard maintenance fee by 100 yes you read well My bottom line is a question Would you trust your money to a bank that freezes your account whenever they want for as long as they want and for whatever reason they want never answering when there s a problem

They approve my account in the mid term i was using it I tried to do a change address request without luck and then without notice they block my account They have locked my savings in it Next step is to call a lawyer Worst bank ever search for better options

Stay away from this multi currency
Stay away from this multi currency account I deposited instantly from my card and they have waited 8 hours to ask from me selfie with card when I provided that operator in support told me you know compliance need 1 to 2 working days to apply money already landed there to my account

Stay away from this horrible bank
This Dukascopy shouldn t be considered a bank at all Every transaction takes a very long time to be approved manually by a bank employee I tried to receive money from a client in the EU money arrived the next day but I had to wait extra 2 weeks to see money in my account waiting for an employee to approve it Also they have high fees in all transactions even their card has 2 monthly fees Also you can t update your info such as your phone number without getting the employee s manual approval Oh my God I waited 2 days to update my phone number Also they said that they have crypto depositsbut they lie as they don t have this feature They can add it manually to your account with extra high fees This bank is horrible I feel regret that I created an account there Keep in mind they can block your account at any moment without saying the reason for that and you can lose your money An online bank should be fast and easy to use but they make the online banking experience terrible

A mystery how this bank even exists
A mystery how this bank even exists There is no logical justification for it it s completely unaccountable no explanation why stuff simply doesn t work and transactions wouldn t happen Communication takes months and solves nothing It doesn t matter if you do everything they ask for provide all the documents etc Clearly it s a common problem that s been there for years Simply incredible how this joke of a company exists

The worst online bank I ve ever seen in my life stay away
1 The worst customer support ever 2 they have the highest fees on the market 3 I had to wait almost 5 business days to receive just 50 euros from an EU friend which is horrible because EU transfers are always instant 4 you can t edit your login info such as email or phone number without manual approval from their customer support and you have to wait several days for that They make the online banking experience horrible
