After years of getting nowhere with written complaints posted here about legality of certain clauses in Lease and E Ms fronting blocking any access to Landlord Fairhold Homes was MCCarthy Stone re E M and their twin agent FirstPort am glad to say have at last been offered meeting with Head of Estate Management to discuss my concerns I will be sure to include all the comments I have seen on TrustPilot in the same vein Please all pray for good outcomes of changes Namaste Susan Reed Viscount Court

Having just received my solicitors full itemised bill on my late Mother s sale of her flat I discover they have charged 1 of sale price and so have First Port I expected First Port but not this company too They charge so much for providing so little I am disgusted with them

A disgusting company Only interested in cynical profiteering Thankfully I ve managed to sell the property I paid them ground rent for For which you receive literally nothing in return They took over 6 months to sort out the deed of variation Difficult to contact and once you do they fob you off with lame excuses Very good at contacting you once your ground rent is due A lamentable bunch of rogues who thankfully I will never have to deal with again Avoid at all costs

I d like to give this minus 5 stars Absolute joke of a company After sending me a bill and telling me to pay online I have contacted them multiple times to say there is no online link to make a payment People who work there are robots when someone does bother to reply and responses make no acknowledgement of my emails saying I need help and instead replying with the same unhelpful answers How is this company still trading Does anyone know who I can report them to

Avoid if at all possible

In all my 70 odd years this is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with Money grabbing inefficient no communication except when they want money of course They seem to have no inter departmental communication Dealing with them after my mother passed away was a nightmare and the problem could have been easily solved if they could be bothered which they weren t Had to instruct a solicitor and finally got it sorted then no apology from them just you will receive no further communication from us email Useless bandits avoid if possible

Extremely slow and never get to speak

Extremely slow and never get to speak to a real human agent They just keep giving you the auto-robot options and never get back to you I am buying a property and their no-response attitude blocks everything

Do not whatever you do have anything to do this company You WILL regret it Speaking as someone who lost the sale of their flat through E M and their profiteering I would gladly see them struck off Equally avoid their partners in leasehold crime First Port The Mafiosi of leasehold Stay well away They should be in court for extortion
