Does not function
Does not function Asked 3 different times for a 2 step authenitcation code Spent 30 minutes verifying identify and get a non-descriptive error Given a phone number to call which just left me with 7 different phone numbers to call none of which reflect the issue I have

INCOMPETENT
The incompetence of EDD is overwhelming They make it impossible to file a claim They refuse to answer the phone One mistake on their part after another They left me homeless after almost 4 month battle of their incompetent nonsense Now they have me blacklisted at BOA because they lied and said I did not provide an ID when I provided it 4 times Please Govenor if you care about working people shut this office down and reopen with better staff There is nothing positive I would say about this office It s worthless

this is another one of them thieves to this day nothing on my mix income I had no response on my appeal and it was only submitted late cause what do you expect peopleto have all the ability to submit an appeal when they are going through financial difficulty it would never been late or needed if the imbecile i t allows applicant to have the ability to make changes it narrow down why is tax dollar spent so wasted and those that lost it at fault to be nonsense should pay they wouldnt be no fraud if they verify the account to begin with i know federal strict order on approving claims but never would stated approved all it just meant to work faster their wages came from tax dollars so by all means we have the right to questions

UNRELIABLE
I ve been out on Short Term Disability since the end of December 2021 Submitted my claim the same week after my surgery Dec 2021 A month passed by and everytime I checked on my claim it still reads as pending processing So I decided to give them a call and after finally talking to someone I am told I need to verify who I am by filling out another form and submitting documents via mail Why couldn t I have been told about this sooner instead of me having to call to find out That s one month down without no sort of income I mailed out my documents a week ago and I keep checking on my claim and it still reads PENDING PROCESSING Now it s half way thru February and still no damn income Are my bills and mortgage suppose to get paid by hopes and dreams The State is a joke now can t pay me for being out on disability but sure won t waste time TAXING my checks or the things I buy and pay for Now I can understand why we have more homeless Thank you for being UNRELIABLE

Biggest fraudster ever
Biggest fraudster ever I have an active claim I can t sign in to verify and unable to file a new one cause I have an active one I call them and they tell me all these excuses These people hold your money and act like they are boss of your property They abuse their power too much and act like the fraudulent couldn t be from internal All I want is my hard earn money that was save for me during situations like this from my employer Only reason they make it this difficult is so it can Stay in their pocket Where is justice for this to have your own country to steal from you and in the long run who is going to provide them labor or tax for their own income I haven t collect one dollar of edd from pandemic yet they gave it away so easy to someone that wasn t me Investigate on when is my id expired and it s a long time since I had an id again

No Accountability No Service No Explanations
The State of California Employment Development Department is an abysmal disaster and everyone who works there should be held accountable They have zero accountability and are either incapable of resolving issues because they sincerely don t want to or because they are entirely incompetent In 2020 2021 and 2022 I had a seasonal job with the same organization The work is remote Due to the nature of the job once the season is done employees are laid off This is a qualifying factor to receive unemployment assistance on the EDD website with Laid off due to work being seasonal an option I received unemployment via EDD on those three occasions until I found new employment Earlier this year my contract finished once more and I applied for EDD For nearly two months they asked me again and again and again to sign and resubmit documents I d already presented 100 times After TWO months of doing this and not receiving any money they sent me a letter in the mail denying me assistance due to my job s office being located in Washington D C What It s always been in D C It was in D C the three times they previously gave me assistance and it s still in D C The work is REMOTE I explained this on the phone a million times to different employees but it doesn t get through to them at all For this arbitrary reason they decided not to give me assistance I wrote a letter appealing this but based on how response the EDD employees are whether it s via the phone or online it is unlikely I will get a response My father s situation is even worse He was forced to retire due to his age he s in his 70s from a company he s been working at for several decades EDD provided him with money until they arbitrarily decided not to After many phone calls they would force him to re-open his claim nearly every time he logged onto the website After getting through to a representative on the phone the representative had the audacity to tell him that it s random some people are forced to re-open their claims some several dozen times some a hundred times some just once He said this as if it s normal and all just part of the system If this wasn t bad enough getting through to an actual human on the phone is borderline impossible And once you do get through they put you on hold with the promise of the wait time only being a minute for you to wait either an hour or wait an hour and have your call dropped If you do get through they ll transfer you to three or four different people forcing you to restate your inquiry each time There is no communication between employees there No one passes on the message There is also no proof of a caller s message being delivered For all I know the letters I ve sent will sit atop a desk for years I ve accepted it s very unlikely I ll get the money I m owed They do this on purpose hoping people will lose patience hope and just give up It s not as if we don t want a job My father was forced to retire whereas I have a master s degree and have been working since I was 16 I would love to find full-time employment that provides me with a livable salary That s much more preferable than dealing with these inconsiderate EDD people Long story short good luck to others out there who genuinely need money You ll wait months and it ll be impossible for you to reach an actual human being to help resolve your issues

All I going to say about the EDD short for unemployment office the interviewers that give you a phone call to review your case is very very mean in ruled in just nasty they always denied you your money they never like to pay you what you are entitled they always side with the employer in the employer fired you nobody ask to be fired period they think every one with fraud since the pandemic it s just sad in horrible I hate dealing with them every time I file for unemployment it be a problem in I really worked smh this is from a real person tf you don t need my ID for no review I m real trust me don t my review sound real TH
