Great learning opportunity

What a fantastic learning opportunity I am an avid traveller but will only be taking my first group of students on a trip in May This training tour provided an amazing opportunity to connect with other teachers who are experienced in leading student tours and learn from them benefiting from their personal strategies and resources EF Ambassadors Daryl and JoEllen were particularly knowledgeable and supportive and showed me what makes a great Group Leader Hotel was lovely right on the metro making it easy to access the city proper and breakfast there was the best Daryl and local tour guides were great telling us all about the city and showing us some gems that I will certainly take my students to in May I found the seminars helpful and appreciated the time to ask questions and hear from others experiences I felt the information tied together well and highlighted some things that I take for granted having traveled a lot but which students might find challenging I also appreciated experiencing the flights and fatigue from a red-eye and tips from EF on how to manage this and then jumping into a full day of sightseeing as well as the same on the way home Air travel is tiring but it was a good reminder that we need to be flexible and positive nonetheless as students will feed off our energy as tour leaders and this model is the best way to maximize time at our destination There were some parts of the tour that I didn t love and would change for my students ie I feel that a walking tour would allow for a better feel of the city than a bus tour in depth for a few sights rather than a glance at many I d try to communicate timelines earlier to give a bit more time for the group to respond prepare but I m still glad I had these experiences so I could learn from them and create the best trip possible for my students Truly a wonderful opportunity with fantastic people and I am very appreciative to EF tours for allowing me to join in on this magnificent tour Thank you

The destinations and activities were carefully urated and on the topic of the tor culinary and history tou of Northern Italy The guides were knowledgeable and the bus driver was patient funny and followed all the road safety rules Overall a great experience

The EF Team made this trip amazing through a thoughtful itinerary ability to pivot when trains were cancelled incredible meals that were so authentic and diverse Enough free time to browse but engaging visits to temples shrines and Japanese historical sites Bravo
