My gas meter stopped working I telephoned help line 10th March 2020 at 7 pm spoke with customer service who handled my query very well within one hour of calling a very nice guy called showed his card and could not have been more helpful Very grateful

Excellent service and customer support

Just moved into a new house and got my first bill It was estimated way over what it should have been but it was an issue with previous meter reading on the last account I spoke with Ron in customer service who was very diligent and spotted the issue and resolved it quickly He was excellent to deal with really nice and helpful Kudos to Ron for representing the company so well thanks so much for your help today The man deserves a bonus Hayley

It s true that people especially irish people are more likely to review if they want to complain I have been with Electric Ireland for three years availed of great rates equal best in Ireland Switched after a negative experience with my previous provider overcharging and haven t looked back Good switching package Energy Efficiency Incentive credits on works done on my house have found the customer service very helpful Especially the home services department who I bought my solar panels from Looking forward to taking part in the ecar charging trial

I did receive a call back today from Electric Ireland The difference with customer service was astounding Yesterday must have been a very difficult day for customer service I got through straight away to them Rachael and Paul were excellent in dealing with my query professionally I have renewed my respect for customer service Such that I ve changed 3 star to a 5-star rating Thank you Original Posting on 24th February 2021 I have always had great respect for the operation of customer service at Electric Ireland However bearing in mind COVID-19 working for staff I have made seven calls today to get through to their loyalty department I managed to get them once and then the call dropped Again I called back and the calls dropped on 2 further occasions I appreciate flooding has taken place in the South of the country Other staff were helpful when I got through However it did not resolve the problem Staff other than the loyalty department need to be give permission to assist the customer at the end of their contract I have been told I ll receive callback in the next 24hrs I won t be waiting up tonight for the call I ve taken a deep breath Ah

Highly recommended I was with pre pay power after been spun lies about my bill being less My bills literally doubled I was so frustrated about paying more because I was in contact with them More fool me for listening to the sales spiel at my front door if I need something I ll go get it because I need it Not buy into charmers at the door because they need you Learnt the hard way Electric Ireland were patient walked me trough the whole process gave me the facts no hidden agenda I will never leave Electric Ireland again

Saved me money and hassle free switch

Absolutely fantastic company never had issues with them have been with them for over five years always get my free credit every year from I joined The staff are more than polite can t do enough to help plus ran out of credit and had no way of getting to the shop and had no card phone them up and they give me 15 credit would never think of changing Thank you Electric Ireland for are you have done to read the last 18 months Martha Toal

I have dealt with electric Ireland for four days now and from the agents to the supervisor Shannon I have to say they have been professional and efficient in dealing and sorting out all my issues with ESB Shannon especially has been absolutely amazing and again a huge thank you for all your support in getting us sorted and for going above and beyond for us Would highly recommend
