Memorable 50th Birthday Hot Air Balloon Flight experience

Heard about Luis from Elevate Balloon Flights from chatting to people at Telford Balloon Festival 2024 Quickly made contact with Luis the Pilot who was able to go above beyond to accommodate my request to fulfil a 50th birthday wish for a vulnerable person I support at shortish notice Obviously only achieved as the weather aligned in our favour on the day too right time of year I was more nervous flying than the person the experience was for Luis however did his best to reassure me The gentleman it was for loved every minute so required less reassurance was actually most grateful that the wind kept us up there longer than expected The flight was peaceful Luis calm professional also informative about the area He answered our questions provided us with the necessary safety briefing before the flight reminded us about positions for landing All of which was well managed We did however land in a field with a locked gate ground crew were not able to retrieve us At this point I got out to meet ground crew the other side of the gate Main person experience was booked for was able to stay in the basket to continue his flight further with Luis taking off landing again in another field This added to my vulnerable persons amazing experience enabled myself to get that extra picture Thank you so much to Luis the Ground crew others on hand on the day who also flew their hot air balloons so we had others to view whilst taking off being up there for making it so special such a memorable occasion I would absolutely recommend Luis Elevate Balloon Flights if you are considering a Hot Air Balloon experience

This was the best experience of my life to see my beautiful home and surroundings from the sky with a really experience team making the experience wonderful and greeting us back on the ground with some champagne the best present ever to give mum and can t wait to do it again xxxxxx

The flight that changed our lives

I booked a flight with Eduardo Luis last year my husband didn t want to come but I didn t want to go on my own so dragged him along too From the moment of booking Luis was very informative about what to expect - how long flight would last possibility of cancelation etc We arrived at the launch sight and were encouraged to help out inflating the balloon with careful guidance from Luis which added to the experience The flight itself lasted roughly 1 hour The best part about flying with this company was we flew over an area local to us so it made looking down below even more special we knew what we were looking at Luis was very chatty for the whole flight pointing areas out and even let my husband have a go on the burners After a bit of a bumpy landing and ended up sideways in the basket which was another photo opportunity we landed 300yards from our house which was fantastic - I walked home We helped wrap up the balloon whilst the retrieval crew came to find us during this Luis said to my husband if your interested and enjoyed it come and have a go at crewing for us 12 months on my husband is a fully qualified hot air balloon pilot with his own balloon and we have a whole new bunch of friends Book a flight you wont regret it Flight was 10 06 2023 but it wont let me put that date
