DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANYMy experience has been a complete disaster Save yourself the time money and headache and purchase from another company If you are still considering purchasing from Enlighten Sauna at least do yourself the favor and read my review I purchased the Enlighten Rustic-3 Slope Full Spectrum Sauna with an OUTDOOR shingled roof This is an OUTDOOR sauna 1 The shipping was a total fiasco and they had no answers for me It took weeks of calls texts and emails to even find out where the sauna was in transit Grade D 2 Once the sauna finally arrived the finish on the sauna had not dried properly and the packaging stuck to the lacquer coat It took multiple calls emails and texts to get anyone to address my issue Grade D 3 Once I had a professional install the sauna one of the heaters stopped working within the first two weeks of first use I had to get the heaters exchanged THREE times This was over a span of several months as their support was unresponsive and it required me to badger them numerous times They did not send a technician and I had to do the uninstall of the old heater and reinstall of the new heater Also during this time the sauna was not usable as it was not able to heat properly Grade F 4 After our very first rain the sauna soaked up the rain like a sponge Now the sauna no longer heats properly Don t forget I purchased an OUTDOOR sauna and I live in Southern California where it does not rain a lot Again many emails calls and texts later they sent me a new electronic panel thinking there may be some sort of electrical issue I asked for a technician which they said was not available in my area I am not an electrician so this is not something I am comfortable taking on myself Also the customer support person now says that WE should have sealed the sauna when we received the units Wait what This is an OUTDOOR sauna that we had professionally installed per the instructions provided This makes no sense at all however given my experience I should no longer be surprised Grade F After about 9 months of owning this sauna I am totally fed up It appears their 3-year warranty isn t worth a damn since I am asking them to pick up the sauna and give me a full refund As of this moment they are refusing to do so UPDATE 1 After many more calls emails and texts they are now saying that in order for me to return the sauna I will need to pay 50 of the purchase price for them to come and pick up the sauna This completely insane but again I should not be surprised UPDATE 2 approximately 2 weeks since my previous update After more texts emails and calls I finally spoke with a person named Mike He said he was in upper management with Enlighten Sauna After a lot of back and forth and a very unpleasant conversation he said he would issue a full refund BUT ONLY IF I remove all negative reviews and sign a settlement agreement stating I will not write any additional reviews Now we know why there aren t a lot of negative reviews because the only way to get your money back is to remove the negative review UPDATE 3 3 26 2021 Today I received an unsolicited phone call from Maria I assume it has to do with the BBB and California Attorney General complaints that I have now filed By the way as of today s date Enlighten Sauna has an F rating with the BBB She reiterated that the only way Enlighten Sauna will refund my money is for me to sign a settlement agreement and for me to remove all reviews I stated that I will not be blackmailed into doing that Update 4I received a letter from the California Attorney General s office They have received my complaint and will be engaging with Enlighten Sauna to resolve the issue As stated previously in order for me to get a refund for the defective sauna Enlighten Sauna is requiring me to sign a Settlement Agreement which would force me to remove all reviews I am hopeful that the CA Attorney General will enlighten them that these types of business practices are not acceptable in the state of California or our country for that matter Stay tuned for updates Update 5 - May 5 2021As of today I still do not have a resolution to my issue I cannot state strongly enough that BUYER BEWARE This has been a total nightmare since the moment we ordered from this company

Dishonest and Criminal
Dishonest and Criminal Don t trust reviews because they pressure unhappy customers to take down negative reviews in exchange for fixing the issues The facts of my experience Received a sauna with a non US compliant heater Contacted enlighten that they must have sent wrong heater since they advertise the sauna as being compliant with US electrical standards Was told the rep my electrician reached out to was not actually an enlighten sauna rep and received a phonecall and voicemail with directions to wire the heater in a non code compliant manner in order to make it work I notified enlighten their approach was non compliant and I would like a replacement heater with one that was UL compliant The pressed me to have it wired not to code for several additional weeks and only after I reached my breaking point of patience and threatened to pursue legal action did they finally agree to replace the heater BUT I had to send back the non compliant heater first I sent the heater back and was ghosted for several weeks on getting confirmation or next steps I finally wrote a review of my experience on Yelp and shared it with enlighten again threatening legal action if they didn t rectify the situation I received nearly immediate response that they had just been busy and couldn t get to my matter but they did receive the original heater and would send options of replacements Then they sent me a link to an option which I confirmed was an acceptable replacement Then they sent several emails and a voicemail indicating I needed to remove my review in order for them to send me the heater As of 4 days ago I refused to do that and have still not received a confirmation that I ll receive a replacement heater Summary - check all reviews- note that my experience is not the only review indicating these criminal practices- know that there are likely many many more customers that experienced similar challenges but may have taken their reviews down in order to have their matter addressed

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE
PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING A PURCHASE WITH ENLIGHTEN SAUNA - If you value your hard-earned money please go elsewhere for your sauna I purchased a Sierra 3 outdoor infrared sauna in January 2021 and after the wrong sauna was delivered in July I finally received the model I purchased in September This was after Enlighten tried to convince me to keep the wrong sauna The sound system installed was not the one included in the specifications I received when I initially made my purchase and there are drip marks from a messy stain job on the window seal When I notified Enlighten Sauna of this and asked for a partial refund I was told I would need to sand and restain my sauna myself and I was completely dismissed for the wrong sound system with no response They have ignored attempts from the BBB to resolve this issue The heaters only go up to 118 degrees and it takes 4 hours to heat up This is a defective product that s not worth a fraction of the price they charge They have been an absolute nightmare to work with Horrible service and will take your money without honoring your original agreement Please do yourself a favor take it from my experience and go with a different company

You will regret purchasing with this company
If I was able to give this company a negative score I would Please GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY A SUANA READ THIS Enlighten Sauna delivered the wrong sauna to me after waiting 8 months a month later the correct sauna model was delivered but not to the specifications that I was sent during my purchase upfront The sauna does not heat past 96 degrees and Arman with Enlighten Sauna told me he would arrange to have a booster heater installed I never heard back from anyone at Enlighten Nelly Sal Mark and Arman have lied to me multiple times with absolutely no accountability they have not delivered what I paid for and they will not honour the 7-year warranty I purchased I am working with a law firm now If you wish to reach out to the same law firm located in Oakland CA DM me and I will be happy to share Do not let this shady company scam you out of your hard-earned money DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT

I have been requesting a refund of my
I have been requesting a refund of my deposit as the sauna has not been delivered and with no delivery day in sight I get a complete run around when I try and call the billing department In fact I sat on hold for over an hour waiting to speak with a manager This company is a scam I have been told for weeks now that the billing department would be calling me tomorrow I just want my money back for goods never received Look elsewhere to buy a sauna
