I had an awful incident that didn t allow me to go see the races At least the insurance let me get the ticket money back Since the product is sold in Italy i strongly recommend making an italian page not just a german one

Do not use this company

I took an insurance with this company related to a Condor flight I had to cancel all my trip due to a car crash in what I got different wonds like broken costal bones coccyx brain commotion aso I immediately advise them by mail but never any answer exept an automatic reciep I called Condor that told me they could nt do anything because they are the flight company and ERV the insurance So I had to call in Germany where nobody can speak or understand french but while I bought the ticket all was written in french but it s ok I managed in german So they told me they needed the prove of cancellation of my flight and the prove of paiement of the flight I sent it and wait but never any answer I called again I found an English speaking person that told me ERV will send me all the requieremnts they need They never did In fact I called for almost 200eur finally I got totally upset and called again found an English speaking person that sent me the documents I sent again everything back NO ANSWER I called last week there was a lady that told me 100 sure the company will call me back friday or at least monday do u think someone called NO ABSOLUTELY NOT They got doctor certificate cancellations form aso aso and never anything has happend this is now 1 month this story started and I took the insurance in case because I usually never have to cancel anything So this is what I call CHEATING

My experiences to date of using ERV travel insurance have been very poor At the beginning of July I went mountain biking in the French Alps As always I take out extreme sports cover and cover for my bike this year from ERV Given the activity I was undertaking downhill mountain biking I always check my gear before use it would be madness to go for a week to the Alps and not do so Similarly on my return from the weeklong break I throughly cleaned and checked my bike To my horror there was a crack in the lower part of the suspension fork rendering them unsafe to use I decided to claim on my insurance given I had opted for 5k of accidental bike damage Long story short 7 weeks after submitting my claim and after many phone calls and chaser emails I finally get a response saying that my claim won t be processed any further because I can t supply independent evidence that the damage which is the subject of your claim occurred during the cover dates of the policy Now I ve asked the question of ERV and am awaiting a response but I d love to know what independent evidence looks like in this case I ve shown my local bike shop but as anyone with common sense would agree they can t supply evidence of the date the damage occurred Clearly to ERV my testimony is not sufficient I e I must be lying but I cannot think how it s ever possible to provide the evidence they require This frustrates me so much I work in the insurance industry and it s this kind of behaviour and poor service standards from insurers which gives the whole industry a bad name My advice is not to use if you ever expect your claim to be paid
