EXCELLENT SERVICE

After being let down by Cars2 in Wakefield over a purchase of an MG-HS Exclusive a friend in Sheffield suggested Eric Stead MG So I spoke with Simon Stead and he assured me a car could be available as per my specification by the end of July As it happened the car was available for collection on Friday 8th July I met with Simon handed over my S Class Merc as a Trade - In with supporting documents Simon then took me through their process providing me with a file of documents literally everything was covered in an entirely professional way After the administration was completed I was given a nice little Teddy to name if I wish as a gift Then shown all the controls of the vehicle and the sale was completed in a very professional but friendly way I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending Eric Stead MG - Sheffield and have already passed on their details to a couple of friends Thanks again Simon and Ian in Service for all your kind support and service

Excellent experience

We have been buying cars from Eric Stead Sheffield since 2018 and are now on our 6th car from them as a family Each experience has been made very simple and stress-free due to the extensive knowledge of salesman Chris He makes car buying a pleasant experience and always has time to show you any new gadgets you may not be familiar with in the new car Won t go anywhere else for our family s cars now The addition of a Stead-E bear is always a nice touch and our little boy has quite the collection Thanks again for another wonderful car buying experience

Purchase of new car

First class environment in the showroom very knowledgeable staff Every item of our purchase was explained fully in depth and at a pace so we understood every aspect of the undertaking we were entering The price was excellent as well

Made an appointment to buy a car After a 90 minute drive the salesman told me the car had been sold one hour earlier Supposedly a customer had unexpectedly arrived 30 minutes before opening and a test drive trade in and documentation completed in 35 minutes 5 minutes after opening time I was expected to believe the story Left feeling conned and tricked Offered money not to leave negative review

After initially been seen by Simon - the grandson - and given figures for a new ZS - on our second visit we were passed over to Dan as Simon was too busy to bother with us Dan told us a few untruths some of which I challenged him about the deals and the 34 cars that were coming into stock After waiting a few weeks for these cars we were called on the 1st September the day of the new registrations by Dan to say - guess what - there were no ZS s only 1 demonstrator Dan completely wasted our time and filled us with lies Stay clear of this garage

Ridiculous place and staff is absolutely shocking I had an appointment at 14 00 we arrived at 13 50 with nobody to help us after we looked for help a guy was sat down and ask us if he could help us I told him I an appointment with Chris and he said he was busy you will have to wait After waiting around 20 minutes he ask if he could help with anything I told him I ve come to buy a car and my appointment was at 14 00 he said yes but you will have to wait for him because two or three people are before us Nobody was in when we first went arrived the Guys attitude was ridiculous who told us he couldn t sell us the car we would just have to wait this was around 14 45 and he just didn t know how long we would have to wait My partner had to get me out because I was ready to go at him for how he spoke to me I have hidden disabilities and I should have to be spoken down to or been messed around I went elsewhere and got the car I wanted with very helpful staff and got my car 4 day s after Please don t go if you don t have any patience and don t go if you don t want to be talked to let S T

Our MG3 was towed to Eric Stead and needed a major repair The service department pulled out all the stops to fit it into their busy schedule and got it fixed in time for our holiday Thank you
