Help is easily at hand with this firm
I found the programme booklet difficult to follow and I m pretty technically minded The ESi people were easy to get hold of and talked me through what I needed to know I called again today because my heating was on when it shouldn t be My call was answered in under 20 seconds and sorted I can t recommend this company highly enough

Could not fault their technical
Could not fault their technical department when I had a fault with thermostat and receiver They talked me through how to reset and were most helpful nice to deal with a company with such customer service these days

Terrible thermostat
Terrible thermostat programmed to come on in the evening when I came home in afternoon heating had been running house was very hot so had been running hours before program that I set it to Also came on very very early in morning Also don t bother e-mailing support as they do not respond

Two ESI thermostats of the 6 generation
Struggled with Esi control rtp6c in a newly built property Have two of them one controls upsatirs the other controls downstairs Had very difficult time making the thermostats work as I need They did not respond to what I tried to do I later found with trial and error that hey were installed incorrectly The one down stairs controlling upstairs and vice versa So this created the difficulty in the beginning Now I knew what is the problem I am back in control but still need and electrician to reconnect them correctly It turned out to be no fault of ESI control thermostats

Electronic Dual Cylinder Thermostat ESCTDEB
The thermostat was installed and working well until I decided to set the Legionella Override to operate once every 7 days at the end of the process I released the holiday button but the display failed to come back on Have tried holding the holiday button on for a few seconds as suggested by ESi support powering the unit on off but the unit is non responsive With something as important as hot water I need a product that is reliable UPDATE Replacement received will post progress when installed

Not for me
I can only write a honest review Got a new build with two thermostats So when I want to change the temperature one or the other is always offline Rarely can I set them both I m always switching between 5gh and 2 4gh to try and get the thermostats online Its early days but I wouldn t recommend this product However if this issue was fixed I may start to enjoy this app and thermostat but right now its quite frustrating seems to work on my wife s phone but on my phone constantly one thermostat is offline

Rude Technical Support
Contact ESI technical support to guide the electrician on a fault finding on the S-plan wiring electrician has foreign accent asked a few questions on the wiring then the advisor turned around to the electrician and said you need to get an electrician out and hang up Disgusting behaviour just cause you sit behind a computer does not mean you can pass judgement on who is qualified or not Tried to raise a complaint ot a ask about the complaint procedure and was told to send an email and again the customer service lady hang up I would rather spend more money on Honeywell stats from now on
