Unacceptable Postage charged at 6 99 for two cycle

Dispatch time 3 to 21 days - Shipping charge 6 99 for accessories priced to 20 699 Fully aware of above terms I nevertheless expected next day delivery for a shipping charge Postal charge of 6 99 for two cycle valve caps It didn t happen items took a number of days to arrive but did arrive on the last day of Espoke s delivery window Questioned this with seller and reason why they charge so much for such small items and don t actually deliver Next day Actual postal cost envelope 3 25 Seller suggested difference charged was to cover admin and handling I rejected this stating this should come out of their profit on the item and demanded refund of difference they failed to respond clearly I hit a nerve

How pathetic can scammers like ESpokes get They are now claiming that accessories on the bike were found to be missing after they had received the bike back from me in person The only accessories I purchased were a mirror a bell two paniers a replacement saddle and a footpump I had no reason whatever to want to to keep any of these And do they really expect people to believe that they didn t notice any of these accessories missing when I personally handed the bike back to them in the presence of two witnesses one of them being the Manager of the scheme where I live and who was there specifically at my request Then they subsequently claim that parts were later found to be missing So why would anyone claiming a full refund on an article not fit for purpose deliberately jeopardise their legal right to a full refund by removing parts in advance of returning it They don t even say what parts are supposedly missing Obviously they haven t yet got their heads together to decide which parts they will claim are missing Their sheer obtuseness is quite astounding They also state that they have offered me two solutions to deal with the problem They in fact offered me 1000 for the bike which three days earlier I had paid them over 2100 for and which was returned in bought condition They later repeated this same offer and are now interpreting that as two separate offers trying to give the impression to readers of these reviews that they had made two separate offers Let me tell you that I will not accept a penny less than the 2143 41 I paid to these scammers If they offered me 2143 40 I would reject their offer In my book the principle is even more important than the money I will not roll over and be robbed even if I have to go all the way to the ECHR Listen friends don t ever give in to or bargain with these scammers Obviously they will sell good bikes and have some satisfied customers just as a dodgy second-hand car dealer will sell some good cars along with the crocks and the death traps ESpokes will happily accept praise but they won t take responsibility for faulty and unsafe goods and will rob you blind if they can get away with it Once you have a just cause against them their true colours come out Their advertising hype is not worth the paper its printed on Find a reputable dealer elsewhere is my sound advice and I am talking from experience These people are as slippery as eels and have no regard whatever for either truth or honesty KEEP WELL AWAY FROM THEM

Further to my recent review I am still waiting for ESpokes to refund the money for the bike they delivered which was DANGEROUSLY unfit for purpose They had the nerve to offer me a refund of 1000 for a bike which I had paid over 2100 pounds for two days earlier and which I returned in the same condition as I received it I am of course determined to get a full refund and am taking legal action against them but this family are playing the waiting game and claiming that they have had legal advice to not pay what they owe me Will keep you posted Any prospective customers take great care By the way I have entered one star only because the comments won t activate on zero stars which is the true score

These people are scammers against whom I am presently taking legal action to recover over 2100 for a bike which was dangerously over-sized and unfit for purpose They have made it clear that they are willing to commit perjury in court rather than refund me in full as any honest law-abiding dealers would do I doubt if it will go that far because I have a clear-cut case Stay away from these unscrupulous sharks By the way I resent having to mark up one star to make a comment This outfit does not merit any stars whatever
