I am extremely disappointed with the block management company handling my property Their communication is appalling and they lack any basic level of customer care or transparency I missed a fire door inspection due to being out of the country something they never bothered to follow up on via email or phone and instead of making any reasonable effort to contact me they simply sent letters to the property address and imposed a 30 missed appointment fee without warning Worse still I later received an unexpected 75 VAT charge for an additional visit which was never communicated to me in advance When I questioned this they claimed it was mentioned in vague letters that didn t even specify the actual amount This kind of hidden charge is deceptive and unprofessional When I raised my concerns I was met with dismissive responses and excuses rather than any genuine attempt to resolve the issue or improve their communication practices I ve now had to escalate this matter to the Property Ombudsman because it s clear this company has no interest in treating residents fairly or with respect If you value transparency clear communication and reasonable customer service I strongly advise avoiding this block management company They seem more interested in squeezing extra fees from residents than in providing any level of service or support
