I not what it used to be
I don t know what happened to this store Quality used to be on point The portofino shirts I used to buy that were stellar quality are now thin wrinkled junk Customer service is useless - they always have wrong info send you on a wild goose chase and cannot seem to understand basic requests for returns send incorrect labels and packing slips and then tell you they never received even though I have an email stating it was received They close all their stores and then charge a return shipping fee This store is not worth it anymore Plenty of other clothing options to choose from

Imagine being given money for your birthday and saving it to use when you have extra money to use on something more expensive but you don t use it when the gift giver wants you to One week and they take it back Ouch That s what they do with their birthday rewards So I called and explain to customer service that I was going to use it tonight to see if they could re-issue it and they just totally refused to work with me or even display any kind of warmth at all have been a loyal customer for over 15 years and can honestly say I don t want anything to do with them anymore

Express buy is a FAKE WEBSITE SCAMMING people of there money I just got a refund from my bank thankfully or I would of lost 187 for a tin of Forest green White Knights paint that never existed these people are lowlife scum of the earth ripping innocent people off I m from Australia DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from these SCAMMERS Took me over a month to realise I was not receiving the goods after they could not provide a tracking number or any response

If you re a glutton for anxiety and customer abuse
I ordered a shirt online on September 18th On October 29 tracking said it was still awaiting pickup by UPS This is obviously not UPS s fault but Express s for not handing it over to UPS I was certain it wasn t going to arrive by the promised October 3 delivery date since the mode of shipment UPS Surepost which goes through USPS on the final leg I am told to wait until October 3 If it doesn t arrive by then I was promised a priority reshipment I call again on October 1 UPS status remains the same awaiting pickup anyone with a brain would know it wouldn t arrive by October 3 Still I was told to wait until October 3 Today is October 3 status is still awaiting pickup by UPS So they should be reshipping priority as promised right Wrong i am now told to wait until October 8 again and given case number 0915 Again with Surepost I am certain it will not arrive by then What is wrong with you people Staking your reputation for a shirt What disregard for customer welfare Your bad reviews are all over the place I

I bought a shirt from Express com a couple weeks ago When it arrived I really liked it until I noticed a string of tiny holes across the front of the shirt When I tried to request an exchange or refund from Express com I was told the shirt came from UpWest and they directed me to them Unfortunately UpWest doesn t respond to my emails nor do they answer their phone When I complained to Express the declined to help resolve the matter Beware purchasing from Express com

Horrific customer servicePlease note that return policy is 30 days from the date items are SHIPPEDIt doesn t matter how delayed the item is in getting to you they will not make any exceptions To make matters worse their chat assistants lie When I told her I was going to write a poor review she said that she was in fact able to create a return label for my shipment This was actually false but I did not realize it at the time

If you re not proficient with returns
If you re not proficient with returns do not order from Express unless you re absolutely sure it s a keeper They give you 30 days from the day you place your order and if you miss it not only do you not get a refund but no credit towards anything Those unwanted items are yours to keep

Don t honor their own gift cards
They ve been going down hill for several years now and now they won t even accept their own gift cards They ve now lost a loyal customer from me and I ended up checking out with a 160 cart instead of 300 because they wouldn t honor a 25 gift card Despite the fact that the card says right on it that there s no expiration date and that the card can be used on express com they ve apparently decided effective May 1 2024 that gift cards can only be used in-store

Believe it or not
Believe it or not they used to be a decent not great but decent store As the years have gone by and probably in response to the brick and mortal retail environment their clothing has become very expensive and worst yet of very cheap quality Most of it is made from synthetic textiles that won t last They are probably getting it made in China to sell to consumers that don t know any better You are better off buying affordable even if used quality at a thrift shop
