Frustrating abroad purchase

The purse was lovely and on sale The inside dividers felt thin and scratchy but the outside leather was beautiful I had never purchased anything abroad before so I did not know the costs involved I wanted to return it because it looked like it would be for a much younger woman The cost to return the purse was the same amount the purse cost It was stuck in customs so I had to have it returned to me since the additional custom cost was too much I had spent half the cost of the purse to return it to Italy at our post office I will not be purchasing anything abroad again unless some of the cost is absorbed by the seller It was advertised as easy returns I couldn t have made this purchase at full price Since this process took at least a month it was very frustrating
