We have Partnered with Firefish for more than 8 years and they continue to deliver a great service to our business The Firefish team provide excellent customer service great support and training to our staff The software itself is continually improving with new functionality and regular releases based on client feedback Our Account Manager is always on hand to help us improve and make sure we are taking advantage of all aspects of the software I would highly recommend Firefish and there s no doubt they are the markets leading ATS provider

A great company to do business with
We have worked with Firefish for many years and have always been impressed It s a great system for recruitment and the Firefish team are brilliant always so quick to help and knowledgeable - these guys know their stuff We have recently had the pleasure of working with Wendy McDougall on a Playbook that has already improved our way of working and productivity

Great company to work with
Wendy and the team at Firefish are fantastic I ve been using the firefish software for 5 years now and it s totally changed how I recruit much more productive The Firefish team is always on hand to help out and they continually bring new ideas listen to the customer and introduce upgrades - really brilliant

I had Firefish since starting up my
I had Firefish since starting up my business 3 years ago and always paid annually upfront I asked for some understanding to wait a short delay for the next annual payment due to COVID-19 business and cash flow wasn t great I still had 4 weeks running of my current year and as I pay upfront I m not in arrears They advised they couldn t cancel payment but instead switch me to monthly which I wasn t keen to do I then asked to cancel and they advised that I couldn t as I have to give 60 days notice even though I have paid upfront Instead pay a couple of months then cancel to ensure I get my data why do this when the customer has paid a full year upfront I refused The account cancelled down and they deleted 3 years worth of data Horrendous The worst thing was the customer service they weren t helpful sympathetic AT ALL It was a bit like gave us your money The Website attached to the CRM itself is awful Furthermore the fallacy of this customer centric approach couldn t be further from the truth the only time I heard from them in 3 years was the email to tell me the 1200 was being collected

The experience was unbelievable
The experience was unbelievable Through 3 different meetings we were assured that the software would do what we needed it to do Fast forward 4 weeks and through a training session we inadvertently discovered that it couldn t Alan McFadden denied telling 3 different audiences on 3 different occasions that the software would integrate as needed He also said that they recorded all their meetings Another not true The CEO is only interested in money Not in reputation as she refused to refund us having admitted that Alan lied about the recording of meetings Stay away

I stated clearly what went wrong Trustpilot removed my review asking me to provide evidence Since one of my complaints about this intolerably slow interface was that there is no way of saving what one has entered - unless one knows what one is about to endure one is unlikely to be taking screenshots So if you are foolhardy enough to try registering and feel you may have the temerity to complain about the clunkiness of the process at any point I would suggest taking screenshots as you go I will be saving this review and re-posting it if it is removed

AVOID Pretend to be a small business that cares for small businesses but are the total opposite and are currently hiding behind contracts when i ve asked for help System still not fully operational after a month - not worth the migration costs to move from other suppliers with Am now left in an even worse position than when I was with the dumpster fire that is Vincere Access which I didn t think was even possible Broken process where each department is seperate zero account management once signed up Holding my data hostage no way to get out of the contract despite being in financial difficulties They would sooner see the business go under as long as they get a paycheque AVOID AVOID AVOID

What do you like best about Firefish
What do you like best about Firefish The sales representative was friendly and the LinkedIn integration worked well for contacts and candidates Basic recruitment processes are acceptable but the system feels outdated compared to modern CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot What do you dislike about Firefish Firefish feels outdated and cumbersome especially compared to modern CRM tools Standard processes are slow with no map integration for address input and limited customization options The search functionality is inadequate and frustrating to use Many other functions are also outdated and the overall process is just too slow Loading delays further hinder productivity Unfortunately they don t allow any testing until after you ve signed a 12-month contract which felt particularly unfair as we quickly realized it wasn t the right fit but were already locked in with no early termination option What problems is Firefish solving and how is that benefiting you We hoped Firefish would handle both contract and permanent recruitment but found it outdated and stiff with limited customization It s not solving our problems and isn t enjoyable to use ConclusionOverall avoid Firefish at all costs You have no chance to test it thoroughly before committing to a long-term contract We are bound to a 12-month contract and couldn t fully test the system beforehand We asked for a early termination due to special reasons to end the contract but the said no and were only interested in the money As a young startup it feels especially mean and unfair that our request for special termination was denied they just want the money

System was massively oversold and underdelivered It is the worse CRM system I have used in over twenty years The notes section is very poor these sections have to be clear for recruiters working in a fast paced environment Especially candidate interview notes System changes with NO notification that this was happening

This is a ZERO
If I could give a ZERO I would 1 is very generous Perhaps the worst piece of software I have ever used If there were no CRMs ATS left I would still not use this It s slow clunky and looks nothing like the demo Support is useless Everything about this product is what s wrong with the SaaS world Do not sign up to this you will be disappointed
