No respect of urgency for urgent housing issues
On Sunday we have reported a issue with our heater at first they were efficient booked someone to go to our house on the same day Monday however the visit never happened Today the contractor arrived very early in the morning we spent the whole morning without energy or hot water The contractor informed that there was a bigger issue with the boiler To our surprise Anthony the guy that was dealing with our issue simply cancelled the visit informing that the landlord wanted to use his insurance and that we would only have our issue fixed on Thursday the earliest We are now left without heating AND without hot water that was working before this first visit We have been trying to contact them all day today We have not had a reply or a clear position Hot water is a matter of urgency even more when we have two small children at home The level of disrespect to our family is unbelievable We were dismissed being informed that Anthony was doing a training that is apparently more important than resolving a tenant s urgent issue We also have a group with several people from the agency and nobody was able to take the issue over while Anthony was supposedly doing this training It s a joke really I am so disappointed and also concerned for my children If the weather goes down we will still be without heating and hot water If they get sick because of that who will be responsible Apparently the landlord s money is more important than any kind of urgent issue with the tenant s house

Lack of communication and professionalism at Fish Needs Water
We stumbled upon a flat listed by Fish Needs Water on Rightmove and promptly contacted the agency to schedule a viewing The advertisement clearly stated that the flat was available either furnished or unfurnished showcasing the landlord s flexibility Upon seeing the flat in its impeccable condition we decided to make an offer for it to be furnished at a slightly reduced price compared to the market rate However our experience took a disappointing turn when the agency informed my partner while I was unable to answer the call due to work commitments that the landlord would not have accepted our offer under those conditions My partner assured them that we would await their call back after discussing it with me Despite our efforts we found ourselves repeatedly reaching out on Friday afternoon and throughout Saturday only to encounter confusion from various staff members who seemed unaware of our inquiry despite providing our details multiple times Monday came and went without any communication leaving us puzzled Then today I received a text message notifying us that the landlord had accepted another offer likely opting for an unfurnished arrangement This lack of professionalism is disheartening Had they taken the time to reach out and discuss the situation we could have potentially reached a compromise However it appears they were indifferent perhaps due to an oversight in their advertisement regarding the furnishing options

How not to run a business
Have been trying to contact somebody in Lettings at Fishneedwater to arrange a viewing at a property that has caught my eye on Rightmove However despite having already filled in and submitted an online enquiry form and numerous attempts at chasing it up nobody has yet seen fit to respond to my enquiry Every time I attempt to contact the Lettings dept they never answer the phone and it ends up getting diverted to overflow pick up The property in question - which was showing as available immediately - suddenly now isn t available until Dec 2025 Very strange way to run a business if they re not going to communicate with prospective tenants
