Solid Online Lens Repair Service from Fixation

Had my lens repaired by Fixation recently and overall I m really happy with how it all went The whole process was super convenient handled entirely through their website which made things straightforward The repair quality was spot on My lens came back working perfectly the issue is fixed and it s ready to go Haven t used the camera much yet but initial tests show it s all good Communication was solid too all online and clear throughout so no complaints there They had my lens from 19th August to 10th September I was hoping for a slightly quicker turnaround but to be fair this is still pretty quick for a proper repair Prices seemed fair as well definitely cheaper than buying a new lens and the workmanship looks solid I can t really comment on aftercare as I haven t needed to go back to them for anything but so far everything s been smooth so I d expect it to be fine All in all I d definitely recommend Fixation for lens repairs based on my experience

Great repair experience from start to end They know their stuff and will give you realistic time frames Couldn t ask for more

I dropped my camera into the Manchester shop and they sent it off to London Once they have it you can accept the estimate online which I like Nigel in Manchester was absolutely brilliant Nice chap knows what he s on about and communication was spot on He posted my camera back to me so I didn t even have to go back into Manchester to fetch it Really pleased with the repair and the whole process

Glad I tried again

Mixed experience the first time I used Fixation I tried them again and had a far more positive experience Quick turnaround good communications and fair price for the repair Glad I tried them again will return for another repair

Doh this looks like an expensive accident

Unfortunately during a job my camera and lens had a significant impact honest it wasn t my fault the lens and camera seemed to function okay but the front filter would no longer screw in as it had become warped with the impact So I decided to send it off for a repair at fixation via Wex They informed me the internal optics were also misaligned within a few weeks the lens was fixed for a small free of 230 which seems expensive but for a 2500 lens I think it was worth it The staff were friendly and helpful All in all would highly recommend Fixation for fixing camera related equipment

Put my camera in for a sensor clean while you wait service Customer experience was really positive pleasant waiting area and the sensor was in perfect condition after the clean Definitely a go to place - can t praise it highly enough

Sent in My Nikon 500mm PF as it wasn t working with my focus working on and off periodically Having made an account with them I was able to view online where my lens was in the process of repair Having seen online that it was on hold I phoned them up as to the query It was on hold for parts to be ordered from Nikon and could take 2 4 weeks to arrive The part turned up in 13 days and the repair was done the next day The lady on the phone when I queried was really assuring and I could call them back at any time for any sort of updates which wasn t needed as I worked out how to use the online services but I was pleasantly reassured by her customer care
