DO NOT USE FLIGHTS SECTION BOOKING COM
As already mentioned DO NOT BOOK YOUR FLIGHTS WITH BOOKING COM It is a different experience booking hotels with them which has always been exceptionally great The flight section of their company is managed by Go to Gate who are useless and don t accept any responsibility or accountability when customers are faced with an issue instead direct customers to flight company who then insist it is BOOKING COM Go to gate that needs to deal with the issues It is always better to BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THE AIRLINE AND USE BOOKING COM FLIGHTS JUST TO CHECK WHAT FLIGHTS ARE AVAILABLE BUT DO NOT PROCEED BUYING FLIGHTS WITH THEM I WISH I HAD SEEN ALL THESE POOR REVIEWS BRFORE BOOKING MY FLIGHTS AND FOR OVER 2 WEEKS STILL WAITING FOR A REFUND

We booked flights through booking com
We were sold tickets under false pretences We booked flights through booking com like we have done in the past Only this time they did not communicate that the tickets booked for this specific flight do not permit seat reservations not even against payment I ve never had a ticket that did not allow seat reservations Some came for free others I had to pay for but never was it absolutely impossible to get any seat reservation at all As we are travelling with a young toddler and seats are starting to sell out we might end up not sitting together which is obviously not an option for us We called the airline under three different numbers abroad UK US and Japan but they said that they cannot help as seat reservations are indeed possible but not for this specific ticket type sold by booking com and that booking com was responsible for communicating about the restriction Now the issue is not only did booking com not clearly communicate about it they do not communicate about the restriction at all I ve taken screenshots as proof Various Booking com representatives including supervisors confirmed both in writing and over the phone that they were aware of the restrictions which makes this most certainly fraud as they sold under false pretences What is particularly disappointing is that not a single of all 5 people we ve spoken to apologised for their mistake but instead they were all very condescending and indifferent They also informed us that they will not cover the cancellation fee of 35 pounds per ticket That means we are losing over 100 pounds plus expensive calls abroad only because booking com failed to communicate ticket restrictions that I have never come across once for reference I ve taken many hundreds of flights in my life I m shocked about this poor level of customer service as I ve had only good experiences in the past with their hotel reservations team We encourage everyone who has experienced similar issues to get in touch so we can take legal actions together

Payed double forseats
My wife booked a flight from D sseldorf to Hong Kong with booking in Doha When she wanted to make a reservation for the seats and paid for it she received a message that the reservation had not gone well and that the money would be returned so a new reservation had to be made what happened nothing was refunded At the service desk or customer service in Mumbai you are sent from pillar to post they even dare to say that for the first time I did not pay for those seats we can prove that it has been deducted from our account and transferred to a booking account It s just wasted energy fighting that fight booking never again

Do not use
Do not use booking app is not accurate It changes the dates when booking and customer services will tell you that you intended to book dates you did not select Avoid at all cost After being charged 63 for flights they suggested I pay another 113 in addition should I want to change the dates I did not select The flight is showing at a cost of 43 A total scam

Wrong flight option and horrendous complaints handling
I recently booked a flight with this agent Having selected only premium economy and bring told by the chat box that all flights were premium economy in line with my search criteria when I got on the long haul part of the journey I found there was no premium economy on the flight with Aer Lingus to San Francisco This was bad enough but the inability of their complaints and service operators to understand the issue and their attempts to absolve themselves of any responsibility by stating blatant untruths was astonishing to say the least Best not use them for flights or be very very careful if you do And if it goes wrong whatever you do don t waste time trying to get a honest explanation from them

17 hour delayed layover - no solutions
Terrible experience - journey delayed 17 HOURS resulting in us missing family Christmas dinner No hotel compensation and they cannot even tell us how much we would get refunded if we cancel this part of the journey and rebook somewhere else We booked a multi-city flight through booking com which gets handled through GoToGate A flight in our journey from Amsterdam to Melbourne got cancelled and we got put on a later flight that extends our layover in Guangzhou from 2 hours to 17 HOURS We have called gotogate multiple times and they cannot 1 Tell us what amount we would get refunded if we cancel - because we booked a multi-city flight and this is only part of the journey 2 book us on any other itinerary that meets our requirements of when we need to leave arrive 3 Give us any sort of accommodation compensation for the heavily delayed itinerary We will be in Guangzhou for 17 hours but not get a hotel Obviously flight prices have skyrocketed as we get closer to the gate and it will cost us a lot of money to rebook anything else However due to the 17 hour delay we will miss our family Christmas dinner

My flight was cancelled and I ve been waiting for refund for 2 and half months now They say they wait for the airline but when I call the airline they say it s impossible I cannot get more then same answers from their customer service I m waiting desperately No one must buy any flight ticket from Booking com and GoToGate That s a fraud

Booking com So annoyed and fed up with these companies take your money then walk away when the hits the fan and do nothing to help go and see the airline Well no I made a booking with your company and paid you good money for you sorting the deal but when things go T s up I expect you to sort things or at least seem to try and sort it Instead of your flights cancelled see the airline and your site keeps saying OOPS Somethings gone wrong I ended up waiting on a phone call for over an hour to get things sorted by myself THATS WHY IM PAYING YOU TO GET THINGS SORTED so unprofessional and amateurish
