20 of fruit thrown in the garbage
I was at the food basics on Kirkwood Avenue and Carling in Ottawa Ontario I was happy to see that they had peaches and nectarines in plastic tubs I brought them home they were freezing cold the last several times that I bought fruit this way I threw all of it out And this time was no different if they are that cold when they re in the store they must have kept them in the fridge before they put them out I would imagine If that s the case is it possible that they were not good before they were put in the cooler I also bought Macintosh apples my favorite in bags couple of them I couldn t even eat and the others did not taste like Macintosh Apple I think a lot of stores that sell groceries are looking at any way they can to make a buck Previous to covid this was my go-to store not so much anymore

The manager Brian who is so very patient and helpfulpfulpfulful
I had a few meetings with Brian the manager of Food Basics Hampton Park on Kirkwood He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to resolve a problem The store is amazing with fresh fruit and vegetables I do most of my shopping there due to the lower price than anywhere else
