Late delivery faulty product and the most appalling customer service I have ever received Do not buy from garmin
Delivery was very delayed and customer services did not respond to my request to cancel the order after finding out after 2 weeks of waiting that it was going to be late They waited until after it had been delivered to respond simply by letting me know it had now been delivered so my concerns had been rectified On arrival the watch did not work well The screen kept freezing and turning itself off The watch did not stay securely on my wrist during sports sliding around and weaking the HR sensor connection In addition the sleep tracking software they use was wildly inaccurate in comparison to my previous fitbit devices I was frequently told I was asleep when I had clearly been up chatting with people as evidenced by the time stamps on my messages Again I tried to reach out to customer services to get advice on improving the functioning of the watch or returning it for a different model After 11 days I received a generic email saying my order had been cancelled and I would receive a refund in 2-7 days While this didn t answer many of the questions I had put to garmin I accepted that a refund was a good outcome especially as there was no request to return the product After 2 weeks I had not received the refund or any responses to my questions to customer services I contacted them again only to be told I had not been issued a refund after all If I wanted one I would have to start a refund request from scratch and send the watch back Still no answers to my questions and nearly 2 months after I placed my original order I could have ordered this watch from amazon at a cheaper price and had it delivered the next day I had just wanted to try and support the primary company by ordering from them I obviously very much regret this decision and will never order a garmin product again

Happy to take your money - no where to be seen when product becomes faulty
I bought a Garmin Epix Pro 2 along with the heart rate chest strap It is still under warranty and the chest strap has stopped working I have tried to contact them to arrange a replacement but I have had radio silence and no response I m am posting here in the hopes I get a reply before I go to the ombudsman

Vivosmart5 Unreliable Has a waiting for data message for a long time It doesn t catch sleep many days They say hope for an update to fix problem I wouldn t advise you to purchase this watch Fitbit is even worse

Garmin do not honour the warranty on their products
As you can see from all the other reviews on here do not trust Garmin products which are supposed to be covered by a warranty They will not help and avoid ever taking your product back for repair or exchange even when it is faulty I have a Garmin Forerunner 965 and its battery lasts less than 24 hours I spoke with customer support and they are not helpful at all They are avoiding the fact this watch is meant to be covered under warranty The vast majority of reviews about Garmin are all about their lack of support or honouring the warranty

Don t buy a garmin avtex tourer 3 sat nav
We bought an Avtex tourer 3 sat nav for our caravan It sent us down narrow roads in France too narrow for a caravan and a few times when the sat nav was needed only a car was appearing on the sat nav screenWe have not had a satisfactory reply from garmin only thank you for your commentsThey are content to take your money but then they don t want anything to do with helping you afterwards

No customer support whatsoever
Running a race with no watch as they won t escalate it when UPS haven t been able to pick up the parcel for over a working day week Emailed them photos of UPS stating no contact has been made and still failed to do anything Call backs amount to being hung up on when connected and live chat barely is ever open on stated hours

Garmin have always been good upto now customer service after sales have sadly been let down by My 2nd fenix faulty charging Intermittent sometimes doesn t even register the lead has even been connected Expensive premium watch but definitely not a premium after customer service No way

Bought an gpsmaps 79s
Bought an gpsmaps 79s its not connecting to my mac at all Contacted customer service explained that all my other systems work with no issue yet the gps 79s cant even be found by mac and the customer support was shocking I explained that i have had 0 issues with Navionics and the ability to upload information to that system and customer care response was why you trying to connect garmin to navionics I explained im not im just giving an example of how easy it was to do on Navioics what im trying to do on Garmin and customer care response was why you complaining im ending conversation and terminated the communication SHOCKING I will never buy Garmin again and considering i work building boats and installing systems i will be using alternative manufacturers What was once a great company is now appalling
