DO NOT RENT HERE
Do not rent here Rude staff and dirty offices Terrible service We asked to pay with a Virgin Money credit card clearly marked as credit on the front It is a Mastercard which is accepted worldwide and has the Mastercard logo clearly displayed on the front of the card They refused to even attempt payment with this card saying that it was an online bank with no physical branches We showed them evidence of physical branch sites in the uk which they would not accept They googled virgin money and pointed to the online banking link as evidence that it was online only When we explained that like every major bank they offered internet banking services but were not an exclusively online bank they would not accept this We offered alternative cards including an American Express and our debit card with sufficient funds on it to cover the 800 hold but none were accepted We asked if we could pay 800 and have it refunded to us on safe return of the car and they refused They refused to speak to their manager to see if there were any other options to enable us to pay for the car we had reserved Very unhelpful We went to Sixt after this who took one look at the card confirmed it was Mastercard and processed a new last minute car rental for us swiftly Unfortunately at least 200 more than we had reserved this car for On the cleanliness of the office there was rainwater on the floor but also papers and half eaten food strewn across the counters The attendant was eating her lunch whilst refusing to take our payment We booked with Galdieri well in advance and got the car for 30 The old adage that you get what you pay for is true Although I guess not in this case given we were refused our rental car If you look at all the negative reviews listed they write back and explain why the customer is wrong and they did nothing wrong They never accept responsibility for error or poor customer service Avoid this company at all costs

Nightmare in RomeNightmare in RomeTHE CAR WAS NOT SERVICED AND READY FOR RENTALThey decline my creditcard because of wrong code 16 times But with extra insurance and 4 times price they accepted my debit card - all m y cards have the same code We upgraded the car when we ordered - we got a Panda The car was very dirty inside and outside Try to remove the dirty from the front windshield but no sprinkler A lot of lamps was on - I dont know anything about cars There was no sprinkler not enough air in the tires the oil was old no gas station would refill the oil because it was to old the aircon was out of order Road assistance would only pick up the car not give us a new one But we was living in the mountains and change hotel every other day and need the car I could not get though by phone to the rental company and send them emails After a long dialog over and over we thought that we where on their way After more than a week we had to drive 30 km for a mechanic wait there while they diagnostic the car og change the oil - more than a half dayAfter that we still have problems with the car - air con showed roadtemp was minus 13 degrees but it was more like plus 37 which meant hot air blowed into the cabin After we returned the car the promised me a refund but dont respond me emails

Charged twice money not returned
I ve rented with Olbia airport branch Sardinia and everything went rather smoothly until I arrived home to find out I ve been charged for the rental despite having prepaid the car up front via a partner website I ve contacted the branch and they ve clarified again pretty swiftly that it was indeed their system mistake and that they will refund the full amount I ve been advised it can take up to 20 working days It s been 7 weeks and still no money back It s beyond ridiculous because nowhere in Europe does it take so long I will now be escalating things in any way possible as I no longer believe they actually plan on returning the money
