appalling service
Supported Game 5 6 months ago with a lot of buying from them in cash but had already had to exchange a fridge that was faulty only this time I went for a more expensive fridge once again faulty not working like it should and the water Despenser not used because it leaks Well finally after thinking no I should get an exchange or repair I phoned and was told by the sales lady a tech will be sent out well after again nearly a month I decided enough is enough and I complained and then was told I will be happy in a hour cause the exchange will get done the delivery guy will collect and exchange in an hour Rushed home unpacked the fridge to clean it and defrost it well my meat and all got defrosted and after 3 hours when I phoned I was told she will phone me back because the delivery guy has left then the call no sorry a mistake my ridge is still at game and he will come later well I suffered losses and the next day when game phoned I told them I will rather take my money and support someone els After the lady tried to change my mind into buying another fridge I said phone me back I need to talk to my wife never phoned and about 2 hours later here stops a guy with a fridge NOT THE ONE I HAD but a totally different one NO way I sent him back with the not wanted fridge and sitting with one that is faulty shorting my story at the end I took my money back the attitude we received at the store was shocking and a hipe of R20 notes the lady actually said to the only friendly lady at the counter just make sure they count the money and make sure its correct She did not even greet us she looked as if she was ready to storm me her rude look and attitude is very sad I think training needs to be given to the sales lady and the manager or perhaps a new manager I was in the hospitality industry and believe me this will shock some people And its a pitty to see such a huge store group that looks like they think that game has enough money so what if they have attitude they don t need clients If ever wanting a trainer for the Game store in Mossel Bay I have experience in given training service excellent Inspiring your team team building positive thoughts create a positive attitude and so on and I m still young so full of smiles and friendliness Thank you and shame that one store can make or brake its potential Regards Mr Mrs Zeelie

Pathetic online service
I am extremely disappointed with your service I have ordered a treadmill and needed it to be delivered There was no option for delivery and only pick up on your website Your website clearly states that you can deliver to residential addresses It also states if this function does not occur you must contact customer service I have contacted customer service twice and they have said that they cannot change the process from pick up to delivery I am from Verulam and there is nothing on the site that says you don t offer delivery to my area After such disappointment I have opted to cancel my order due to this draining process of getting someone to assist me I requested a call back from a manager incharge and have not received any calls in over 24 hours Why have your standards and service dropped soo much over these years My family and I have been ordering from your stores for decades and we have not had any major problems until now I am extremely disappointed with the lack of care you show to your customers nowadays I don t feel we will ever buy from any of your stores again This product was a gift for my mother s birthday and I am disappointed that she will not receive it I hope that your cancellation and refund service is prompt so I can atleast provide her with this gift from Takealot a company who actually listens and cares about their customers needs I am doubtful if anyone will read this message just as I am doubtful if I ever receive my call back from a manager who could have assisted us with this situation All I can do is vent on social media for now I hope to hear any response from you via any mode of contact This was an email describing my issues

To whom this may concernI am utterly disgusted and mortified by the treatment given to employees by Grace Maruma at the Polokwane Game Store branch Not only does she belittle them and treat them with close to absolutely no respect but she is comfortable enough to do this IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS I often go to Game for my essentials and more than one occasion have I had a first hand experience in witnessing this woman bully the employees I would assume she has a managerial position but if this is how Game conducts it s treatment of employees then I am more than happy to stop supporting this franchise On two occasions I have seen her torment employees so much that they were close to tears How is this acceptable Employee or not these are people you are dealing with The same people who work hard to keep the franchise afloat only to be treated like filth MORE SO IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS It s disgusting and the mere fact that I ve witnessed this more than five times speaks volumes because it makes one wonder how often it happens that one does not witness in the flesh It is disgusting You must understand how severe these situations I have witnessed must be for me as a customer to complain on the employees behalf Regardless of what the problem is I m pretty sure certain matters can be addressed privately and PROFESSIONALLY Mind you I am not the only person who was disgusted by this behavior because multiple people in the queue had an issue with what we had witnessed and I for one can definitely confirm it has happened way too many times and the fact that nothing has been some speaks volumes about how Game treats its employees I m utterly disgusted They may be employees but they are humans first with feelings Give them some level of dignity I truly am disgusted and will no longer be going to that Game branch

Hi I can see there is 4 bad reviews for Game Nice chatting to staff Messaging They are going to escalate it Ever heard of false promises Nothing in writing Strikd yes Okay accept Only aftef strike then supposed action with still no feedback for return and refund Be very extremely patient with after sales service Very slow and non communication whatsoever Only if order still live My advice Hope it helps

Complete lack of service
Complete lack of service Made a purchase online for delivery and was told 2-5 working days Now day 8 still no delivery and no idea when its going to be delivered No managers at Game are available to assist Lots of apologies but no service They can t even process the cancellation without issues

Pathetic aftersales
If i could give them a negative review I would Extremely pathetic service and I am pass being frustrated already I purchased a stove in November 2023 In January 2024 the oven wouldn t work I logged a ticket with them on 31st January and provided them with the necessary information A week later there was no response I followed up with an email and no response so I called them And according to them the 3rd party supplier was trying to contact me which was a lie they eventually contacted me and the technician came out the following Wednesday and advised that the switch was faulty I waited the rest of the week and again no response I followed up again via email and no response once again I called them and they couldn t provide me with feedback I called multiple times and started getting very frustrated and told them I no longer wanted the unit because it s 3 weeks later I also expressed that it s Ramadan and we need the oven but there was no sense of urgency at ALL A consultant by the name of Zintle called me and said that because the issue wasn t resolved within 21days they needed to refund me I then email asking what the process would be with collection of the unit and the money that was paid Again there was no response and I kept calling asking to speak to a manager which to my surprise was never available They called me on 10th March a Sunday whilst I was in class and I waited to see whether they would contact me again and it was no surprise that they didn t I called the Tuesday to be told a collection has been booked for the stove when I asked when they collection was booked for they couldn t tell I left it and called the Thursday and Friday I then asked when I would be receiving the replacement unit and the consultant said there were no notes regarding a replacement I was then told that the collection was booked for Saturday 16th March I also received the collection information via email I mailed them again the evening of the 15th wanting to know how it s possible that there has been no reference to a replacement unit even though it was discussed with multiple consultants When the courier arrived at my house none of my details or cell phone number was on the collection what a surprise I followed up after the collection to fund out what s happening with the replacement unit and was told that the 3rd party first needs to pass a credit note and it can take up 7-14 days for them to receive it I response again and said that this is pathetic and wanted a manager to contact me immediately and that I would take legal action and I haven t heard anything I no longer want a replacement I want all money credited back to my card Including the payments that have been deducted I would also like to be compensated for my personal time and airtime wasted on this issue

Kenilworth centre Game store has absolutely no knowledge or training of customer services Putrid customer services when handling repairs Jayce Pillay sales manager and Danie Swanepoel branch manager needs to learn how to provide excellent customer services they need to learn how to do their job by doing due diligence before making decisions that impacts the customer and they need to learn how to show empathy while providing the customer with next steps even if the outcome is not in the customer s favor I will be escalating my case to the CGSO and complaining about all the individuals that poorly handled my case to Massmart directly Danie Swanepoel promised that he is personally taking care of my credit form and that I can expect to receive my refund within 1 business day It has been 2 business days and when I phoned earlier today to follow up Jayce Pillay shouted at me said I must wait until Monday and hung up the phone When I tried calling back several times there was no answer
