Still waiting for a refund after 4

Still waiting for a refund after 4 months I had a concealed flush cistern installed which turned out to be faulty resulting in significant water damage and the need to open up part of the wall to remove it A video and photos of the leak and damage were sent to Geberit along with the cistern After 4 months it was confirmed that there was a fault and that I would get an appropriate refund To date I have not received it despite many emails and promises that accounts were processing it The onus has been on me to ask for updates and the responses have been indifferent My bathroom fitter recommended this conceal flush system for its reliability sadly this has not turned out to be the case and I am still waiting for a refund

Dreadful company

Dreadful company their engineer is extremely unprofessional rude There s no point complaining to the company they just side with the engineer even when the engineer has told lies and says he replaced a water tank and wash arm but never did They just throw accusation about which aren t true I could write a whole book about their disgusting behaviour but I would bore you with it A Shame really because the aqua clean is a nice system when it is working properly I ve only had issues I couldn t fix myself since the engineer got his incompetent hands on it the first time

Poor service

Had a Gerberit aquaclean fitted in December failed first use wrong fuse had been put in on installation Couple of days later the flush function would not work on the remote Plumber who attended said there was a lever disconnected in the cistern must have been loose from the factory Sunday 21st Jan the whole thing shut down during use inconvenient to say the least Reported it to the installation co They said they would call Gerberit on Monday Gerberit called in the afternoon Ran through some tests which I had already done Said they would call an engineer it would take up to three days for them to call me If it is not a product fault you will have to pay a call out charge No apology for the inconvenience Building company called on the 25 01 said they would be here on Mon 29 01 later called said it would be Wed 31 01 Eleven days with a faulty toilet it realy poor considering I am in a wheelchair and need this toilet I wish I had never heard of the company An engineer came today 11 days with a faulty toilet The guy was a great help Wrong fuse caused the problem Replaced the fuse offered advice on using the equipment I would give him 5 stars if I could The Gerberit is a great toilet when it is working Gerberits customer service is not good for such an expensive piece of kit I would give it 5stars but for the CS

3 faulty Geberit Sigma 8 Inwall cisterns

I Purchased 3 Sigma 8 Inwall Systems for my latest reno After a few months they got sticky and kept dripping water constantly A service guy came out to adjust they were OK for a few more months Then they started doing it again so I rang the service department again and they told me that these were out of warranty so i would have to pay for someone to come out I said I have three units in my house and they are all getting stuck from time to time Mind you that these were only being used for around 12 months only I argued that these are faulty designed units for all three to be doing the same thing In my previous experience I haven t had any problems with toilets sticking They said I would have to pay for someone to come out I don t want to be doing this every year I said that is just ludicrous Please do yourself a favor and stay clear of this product and brand as they don t stand by their products

This is in accordance with complaint no G24020007818I have registered the complaint yesterday morning regarding the leakage issues which is not at all a problem that takes 2 days and still not solved I have been calling again and again mentioning that it is urgent as we also have a pressure pump attached to the main pipe which was constantly running due to the leakage issues and this created a high probability of fault in it as well But all I got in reply was a set script from every executive that they have marked it as an emergency and someone will visit shortly No one has came till now and the pressure pump has also gone off surprisingly this happened today afternoon and the person from the pressure pump company was at my home in evening The leakage issues not getting solved due to your inefficiency has added a 10 000 Rs additional expenditure of mine on pressure pump Please don t sell your products if you can t provide after sales services

Avoid this cowboy company

I ve had the mera classic for 3 years no major problems except a wrong fuse fitted originally 3 weeks ago I just stopped working asked for someone to come and fix their idea is 3 4 minute phone calls Managed to get is sort of working but the customer service is shocking An email from someone called Em was no use and she got nasty cos I gave poor review When Richard wheeler was a rep he was always on the ball but now rubbish service Won t be bothering again with this company when I move I ll use closomat Had someone respond saying they would follow up and nothing Yet again let down by a shoddy company

AVOID THIS COMPANY you will waste your money and more importantly your time Leaks software bugs absolutely poor and unforgivable after sales service Once they take your money you are on your own Sales representatives are all talk and no action and the engineers are rogue trader types - fobbing you off with lies
