shocking I rang today and spoke to a very rude femalewho just did not want to know she kept saying it won t be cost effective must have said it 12 times all I wanted was a quote for timber french doors to replace my pvc ones she WAS NOT INTERESTED what a crap company

For the second time I have wasted an entire day waiting in for the Barnsdale window repair man They have our phone numbers and emails and have not got the common courtesy to contact us I was told when I last rang that I would be called back in a few minutes over 2 hours ago Rubbish customer service Ok a whole day later and still no response from email or phone call

Contacted this company in January about a window which won t close Now on our 4th cancelled appointment to have it fixed Communication is rubbish on one of the appointments I had taken the day off work to be at home - nobody appeared and when I was eventually able to make contact I was told that it was an oversight on their part not to have contacted me to tell me that the engineer had told them in the morning that his current job would over run and to inform me They didn t I rang twice that afternoon and still was not made aware We are now 7 months waiting for this to be resolved I would not recommend this company

First class quality windows and door and superb installation too We could not have hoped for anything better We will certainly be looking to George Barnsdale when it comes to updating our conservatory next year

This is the second time we have used

This is the second time we have used George Barnsdale windows in two separate homes First time we had them fitted in 2012 so enjoyed them for 5 years before moving and we had an excellent experience with the installation and the quality of the windows and the longevity of the product They still looked as new when we moved last year and in fact were a major selling point of the house when it went on the market So we have chosen GB windows and door when we needed replacements in the house we recently moved to Once again the fitting team was superb all the windows fitted perfectly quality excellent and we were particularly impressed by the made to measure door We cannot rate both GB and the local installation team highly enough

We moved into a barn conversion just

We moved into a barn conversion just over 18 months ago and the windows were in a terrible state After much research we decided on getting George Barnsdale windows We could have oak stain colour inside and pebble grey colour outside we had to have wood due to planning rules There was only one small hitch and that was the small delay in the delivery date but this was quickly rectified The windows and doors have been fitted since Nov 2016 and they look just as amazing now as they did on installation We did have an issue with the installation not a George Barnsdale issue but they went out of their way to help us out in fixing the matter when they really didn t have to Now don t get me wrong the products are not cheap HOWEVER you definitely get what you pay for the quality is amazing I cannot recommend them highly enough and if we ever need new windows again in a property they will be the first choice

Not only is the quality of our wooden windows still outstanding after 5 years when we noticed a small problem with the seal on one of them George Barnsdale arranged to visit some 160 miles from their base to put it right Really pleased with the quality of their work and wouldn t hesitate to give them the highest recommendation
