Fantastic evening
Yesterday we had a birthday meal for 14 and had a truly lovely time Great food lovely surroundings and fantastic service from Alistair and his team - nothing was too much trouble and everything was served with a smile It was a very humid evening and our elderly Staffy was welcomed in and provided with water and lots of fuss We have already booked the next birthday outing Thanks for a fantastic evening

A truly special evening
Thanks to the wonderful team at The George we had a truly special Christmas meal great food amazing service and total confidence regarding safety Nothing was too much trouble and we are already looking forward to returning in the New Year Highly recommended Thank you The George

This is the 3rd time I ve stayed
This is the 3rd time I ve stayed at this well located friendly hotel and again I wasn t disappointed This time I opted for a small single which I was a little nervous about but I needn t have worried as although it was small it had everything I needed comfortable bed TV tea and coffee making facilities and of course compact but perfectly adequate en-suite shower room
