This is some kind of scam I followed a link on Instagram to a survey with a car emergency kit as the inducement The survey purported to be from the AA Having completed the survey I was offered the emergency kit for 9 99 instead of the usual 99 Seemed harmless so I filled in the payment information On the first attempt the payment didn t clear so I waited a couple of minutes checked my bank account and saw that no payment had been taken so completed the payment process a second time This time my bank account showed the payment The following day I checked my bank account as I do every morning and saw that I had been charged the same amount by two different named payees On checking my emails I found I had received two identical emails from the same two named companies thanking me for signing up to their subscription service At no point in the procedure had there been any indication of a subscription simply that I was ordering a single product item One of the companies was this one and the other was named weshopkitchen Both showed the parent company to be Brutano limited with an address in Cyprus I contacted both companies via their live chat and after some arguing they eventually agreed to cancel my subscription and refund what I had paid I would strongly urge anyone who comes across this company to have absolutely nothing to do with them Only time will tell if they have actually cancelled my subscription and I get a refund UPDATE I have now received an email from these people saying they will only refund the money they have taken if I leave a 5 star review on Trustpilot with very specific wording They tell me not to use the words refund or membership cancellation and must use good service good company thank you good experience good customer support instead I have told them that I have no intention of supporting their scam and that this was more evidence of their dishonesty So I repeat you must have nothing to do with these people to avoid being scammed
