Beware GKS were a pleasure to deal with but
GKS were a pleasure to deal with but were inexcusably dishonest about a car that I put a deposit down on and travelled a very long way to view The car was covered in poor bodywork repairs that were very easy to see even to the untrained eye GKS were very apologetic and did return my deposit and cover the return train journey However I wasted a day which was very disappointing since I had been very explicit about having as much info as possible since I would be viewing a car such a long distance away with the intention of following through with the purchase I asked many questions including if there were any blemishes or obvious repairs to the bodywork It was confirmed that the bodywork was all very good condition clean and straight I was lead to believe via a walk around video with audio that the only blemishes were slight lacquering above the headlight washers and some corrosion to the alloys which would be rectified There was over a week between me placing the deposit and traveling to potentially collect the car In the meantime the car was prepared and valeted by GKS and at no point did anyone let me know about all of the damage On inspection It was clearly visible that nearly every panel of the car had been resprayed There were abrasion marks masking tape lines paint runs sags dust in the lacquer and overspray on fog light lens Worst of all were the poorly shaped filler repair on the near side front wheel arch various poorly finished filler repairs to near side rear quarter and doors on both sides and near side sill that had been sprayed in a slightly different shade of silver GKS offered a discount of 1 000 to me to get the paintwork put right Unfortunately this was not acceptable to me as I felt that the actual cost to put it right would be several thousand pounds and the extent of all the damage under the poor repair work could not be known Following my review I received an offer of compensation from GKS to remove my review I will allow consumers to draw their own conclusions

Extremely rude and abysmal customer service
Was fully committed to buying a car would have purchased it on the day but the attitude from car salesman Scott Brittin over the telephone quite frankly put me off When enquiring about delivery of the vehicle to Scotland Scott said I don t see how it s our problem that you live in Aberdeen Avoid this company if you can Received much better customer service at a local garage where they bent over backwards to help me buy the same car from them with much better mileage and specs

Rude time wasters
I agreed a sale of my car to GKS through Motorway They stalled and took a long time agree a collection date and then cancelled collection on the day Everyone I dealt with was rude and Scott see other poor reviews told me I was the least of his priorities Don t bother

Amazing service
The greatest place to buy a car from the staff are so helpful and friendly catering to every need Drove from 3 hours a way to buy a car from them and when it wasn t available to take home the same day they offered to deliver it to me I would highly recommend this company for the quality and honesty

Best car buying experience
Always the best car buying experience with GKS Super friendly staff and you never feel pressured into buying a car Had an ABS fault with my recent purchase and contacted the guys who got it booked in to be repaired ASAP Will definitely be back when looking to purchase my next car
