The apartments were easy enough to book via booking com The location was great and they were quite spacious but they were both not in the best condition with clearly little attention to detail The main areas were clean but you can tell everything is maintained as cheap as possible and only cleaned where visible - e g we moved the sofa slightly backwards and found lots of dirt lost items and dust the sink in the bathroom was held on by a small messy strip of silicone We had to pay a 200 security deposit the day before the booking - this was not advertised at the time of booking However we paid via the link supplied by GMGA and were assured it would be released the following day We received confirmation following our stay that the full deposit had been released and would take up to 5 working days to show in our account this was the 20th of October A week later the payment is still not received so we follow up and are advised it was released on 21st October so should show shortly Again another week goes by we contact again and are then told it was released on the 28th October and to just wait a little bit longer By the 8th of November still nothing is received so we contact the bank who advise nothing has been processed We go back to GMGA to advise and say that we will open a case against them unless they can provide the reference number They sent over proof of refund showing the reference number and transaction date lo and behold it was dated as being released on 8th November shortly after we threatened to open a case Absolutely disgraceful behaviour Not sure how many people they ve done this to and got away with it - they re constantly re-listing their property on Booking com to make sure all their negative reviews don t show
