The best experience for me so far I live and work in Shanghai and after multiple attempts with different teachers and schools I found GoEast I take private classes as it gives me the needed flexibility to align with my job The hard copy text books and workbooks are the best I have seen in my learning journey and a rich source for self study GoEast offers also lots of additional online courses I like the location of the GoEast campus in the heart of Shanghai and can change to online classes too with my teacher whenever needed And last but not least a professional experienced teacher who patiently guides me along the HSK system from level to level a joy to work with I am already learning since 2 years now with GoEast and I intend to do so for the years to come

Beyond professional

i have been studying with Go East on and off for 3 years my schedule sometimes necessitates breaks and without fail every teacher has been extremely professional and knowledgeable That being said my current teacher Jaxson is exemplary Not only one of my best Chinese teachers but one of the best teachers that I have encountered and I am 55 with a masters degree His knowledge patience and the dedication to tailor each lesson to student needs is beyond rare In fact were it not for HIS commitment I might have given up

Really great Mandarin school

I ve been taking classes at GoEast for about a year now and have really enjoyed studying Chinese with Vivian I think the courses and lessons are structured really well and this helps me stay disciplined with my individual studies in between lessons Vivian gets the balance just right between pushing us when necessary while also being very sweet and supportive I feel that I ve gotten my money s worth out of the courses given that the groups for classes are small 2-4 people and you get access to very useful online materials Having now finished the HSK2 and Hanzi courses I will continue studying HSK3 at GoEast

My wife and I completed the HSK 1 2 courses at GoEast We learned a lot and had lots of fun Our teacher Bei Bei was great She made the classes very enjoyable Everybody at GoEast are very sweet and helpful and they make you feel welcomed to Shanghai and China

My teacher is INCREDIBLE I also love the program s self study tools and set up It s super helpful for the student that is ambitious and wants to learn Chinese at their pace I do wish there was more speaking opportunities--but my teacher is incredible and I enjoy every session with her and learn LITERALLY so much

I have to say that I am impressed by this school I registered 6 months ago and just signed again for 6 more months The quality of the materials is very good I really appreciate their system preview a class then practicing with the teachers and every 5 lessons having a review class I find this rhythm very effective Teachers are qualified enthusiastic and we can feel their passion of teaching I also like their efforts to prepare events where students can meet The administration team is efficient and super welcoming I encourage you to visit their page
