We just purchased my wife s mother s home with very heavy solid wood doors and extensive woodwork all stained in dark walnut My wife prefers light colors but the woodwork was too nice not to keep We refinished all the woodwork and painted the walls Sherwin Williams Emerald Creamy White I just needed the perfect floor I needed a floor with light colors to please the wife and dark tones to match the woodwork I searched for months with little success Then I found a wood called Curupay and I knew right away that I found the perfect match Only problem is that it is difficult to find and only available in select which is not the best grade I searched google for weeks until I found a company listed in New Jersey that sold Curupay also know as Patagonian Rosewood I called and I was introduced to Jeremy a very knowledgeable sales consultant and a very nice person Over the next few weeks we spoke more that several times and he sent me samples twice Their Patagonian rosewood was graded CLEAR which is the highest grade Their reviews were excellent and I achieved a comfort level to make the purchase in November 2020 as we were going to act of sale in December They would store the wood with a 25 deposit Well the act of sale did not happen until March 19 2021 There was no pressure to take delivery and they honored the original quote The wood was shipped two weeks ago and installation was competed today WOW The floor is beautiful The wood lengths were mostly medium to long lengths with very few short pieces Just enough short pieces to fill the gaps The millwork was fabulous with extremely low waste This the third home that I have installed solid hardwood floors and this is the prettiest and highest quality floor I have ever installed In addition Jeremy and the staff were always very professional informative patient and extremely nice My floor is incredible and the service is the best This has been one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had IT IS WITH EXTREME CONFIDENCE THAT I RECOMMEND GO HARDWOOD Adrian Schwing Metairie Louisiana GEAUX TIGERS
