They give false info on their website

Their website says that you can post your gold to them and it ll be safely insured for free up to 2 500 This is false I ordered a gold selling pack to only find out that my jewellery would only be insured for 750 When I then queried this with them they advised me I could spend 10 to increase the insurance to to the value of 2 500 They did advise that their valuation would factor this in but by this point I had lost confidence Combined with the fact that if you re not happy with their offer you would have to spend 17 50 to have the jewellery returned to you so I decided to ask them for an instant quote I described the carat and weight to them and never heard a thing back from them Additionally they quote an article on moneysupermarket com which illustrates them in a good light After spending a long time searching for this article I was not able to find it on the platform I d advise steering clear of this company and using one with good trustpilot ratings EDIT - Following my review I received a quote for my 30grams of 22 carat gold for the amount of 1 589 By this time I had sold my gold to another company who s rate on the same day as the one received from this company was 1 907 Therefore this company was offering me nearly 20 less than the one I sold to Cashforyourgold co uk I then received several emails from them following my negative review and they informed me that they would look to address the issues that I had raised about the false claims and then asked me to reconsider my review I agreed that I would revise my review if they adjusted their website Its been more than 2 weeks now and whilst they ve taken down the Moneysupermarket article there still remains many false claims on their site They claim to have 2 876 reviews on trustpilot giving them a rating of 4 8 and list a bunch of testimonials that simply don t exist I explained that these were false and need to be removed but here we are 8 days later and no action has been taken I ve now reported them to Trustpilot for using fake trustpilot statistics Needless to say my review still stands at 1 star
