I have been pestered for a long while
I have been pestered for a long while by SMS telling me that I MUST install a smart meter However these were cold calls - and I do not respond to cold calls Following a personal email response from Matt at Good Energy on 23rd October just after I had submitted this month s meter reading I have agreed to have a new meter installed This decision came about because I am in regular contact with Good Energy so this was not a cold call but an agreed phone discussion Matt took a great deal of time and trouble to explain that even if I had a new smart meter installed I could negate the smart aspect still read the meter myself and still make monthly submissions I now understand why energy companies are so keen to replace so-called outdated meters - being under financial pressure from government It was Matt s extreme patience when dealing with an elderly woman with very strong attitudes to the manner in which she was being approached that impressed me I cannot rate his clarity and expertise highly enough Thank you Matt

Refund of Credit on Account
The Good Energy customer support team my contact was Matt was very prompt in answering my email request for a refund of a portion of the credit that had built up on my dual fuel account We exchanged emails on the projection of my expected usage and costs over the winter months which has changed since last winter and agreed the credit amount and an adjustment to my fixed direct debit A good outcome Thanks Matt
