my grill keeps tripping the breaker
my grill keeps tripping the breaker I ve tried multiply outlets it might run through the start up procedure heat to 150 or 180 then the breaker trips sometime it won t even get through the start up before it trips so each time you must clean it out by hand and start over this is extremely frustrating BUT the most frustrating is the lack of help from GMG nothing helpful on gmg support and of course you can t get thru to talk to anyone i m sure this is a simple fix

March 2023 our Green Mountain
March 2023 our Green Mountain smoker grill stopped working called Green Mountain They diagnosed as control panel sent a control panel out it was way oversized wrong part I had given them model and serial number with pictures Called and Green Mountain said unable to get that part was backordered this was 4 months ago We have asked for a replacement smoker grill or refund if part could not be sent correctly as the smoker grill was under warranty We keep getting they are going to send part Meanwhile now at the peak of grilling season we still do not have a working Green Mountain Grill Smoker Why have a warranty if product 4 months later is not working Do not buy as the above is an example of their service Ed Griesdorn

I can t contact their support number
The igniter is impossible to replace My broken one can t be removed I ve seen a lot of people on the internet having the same problem My local dealer said they couldn t help and to contact GMG directly But their phone support says leave a message and then just hangs up WITHOUT letting me leave a message

Worked great for the first 18 months
Worked great for the first 18 months after that its been nothing but inconsistent smokes On average 1 out of 4 smokes works without issue extremely frustrating Lastly their customer service is almost nonexistent What was once a deciding factor when choosing a pellet smoker GMG customer service was highly rated has turned into false information and only communicates with its customers through email My latest issue has been ongoing for several days because GMG will send one email a day

Our First Smoker-A Sad Experience
Another Update July 8 2024 It s still working UPDATE We finally received the control panel on August 24th and so far our smoker is working We bought for the first time ever a smoker we heard good things from friends about Green Mountain Grills So we bought the GMG Ledge in October 2022 It stayed in it s box for about a month or so due to not having time to put it together When we did find the time to assemble it we tested it out immediately It was great We smoked again and our experience went downhill from there like a snowball headed to Hell We did find a phone number but it was emails thereafter We followed their instructions to the letter Nothing worked the temperature would go up to the recommended heat and quit turn off They decided it s the control panel AND it s on backorder May 12 2023 Still on backorder as of this writing this review July 4 2023 The emails started strong between Support and us now they re pretty much nonexistent since they told us the panel was on back order in other words no updates unless I email them and it took 8 days for a reply the last time I asked for an update Sad to say no offers to replace or reimburse us for a defective grill If they had we d be one of their biggest fans and this would have been a more positive review Question if they re still making the grills aren t the control panels available Sorry to say I don t think we ll be buying a Green Mountain Grill in the near future

What is the point of a warranty if they never get back to you Not a good company Can t speak to anyone and emails just don t get a response Unreal I ve been reading a lot about this At some point there needs to be some class action taken

Literally no customer support
Literally no customer support Are they still in business Because I am having trouble connecting to wifi mode and can t get a response Support number doesn t work I agree with class action lawsuit

The app is a complete failure
The app is a complete failure The grill cannot connect to WiFi and without WiFi you cannot adjust the probes The probes are way off by several degrees

My GMG Trek - terrible quality - support
My GMG Trek is 8 months old and stopped working Start up sequence fails when the fan is supposed to start I was able to finally get some support but did not resolve the issue Now after direct wiring the fan as they recommended a puff of smoke toasted the fan Naturally I cannot get any further response from them regarding parts under warranty replacement IF I could rate the value of Green Mountain as a product and a company it would be ZERO As is the company I purchased from BBQ Guys who also will not respond
