greensky bills for 7 400 for work that was never done Rotorooter uses greensky to collect money for them but the amounts are huge and do not represent the actual charges charges were 204 for rotorooter services and an additional 200 for a toilet replacement NOT 7 400 as billed

I had an issue with the AC unit at my home A local AC company showed up and the damage was bigger than what I expected and hoped for Since I did not want to pay the invoice of about 1300 outright I decided to apply for their credit card and got approved quickly What they did not tell me at that time and I did not find out for about more than 2 months is the company took 50 points off my credit rating to approve me for their credit card If I had know that I would have never applied for their card My credit score has always been excellent but 50 points just for a credit check is waaaay to much and unfair That has never happed to me before Also on the last due date of one month s payment I just forgot to make the payment Greensky company started calling me on the next day to make me make the payment It turns out that they give 10 days grace period to their customers which means I was not late at all They just want to keep applying pressure on people I also called a few numbers without getting anywhere to find out about this case but I did find out that Greensky is actually owned by Goldman Sachs Both companies deserve 1 star rating for their unprofessionalism and bad company policies And please do not write me back like you are sorry and you provide excellent service and care about customers The Greensky policies are bad but I have to praise employees that I spoke with on the phone a few times They were really professional and helpful

I am in the process of replacing 6 windows in the house I bought for my son and daughter in law The house is 120 years old and the windows in question are all in very poor shape I brought in a local window contractor got measured and got a price I agreed to the price then they offered me 0 for 24 months financing OK I can easily afford that so I signed up for it paying 40 down In rounded numbers the cash price was 9 500 and the down payment was 4 000 leaving a financed balance of 5 500 Word of Warning 1 Don t ever sign anything on a tablet the sales person gives you You don t get a copy of what you supposedly signed until much later and for all you know you could be signing your own Death Warrant So about 2 weeks later after the 3 day cooling off period has expired I get a package of documents from a company called Green Sky They approved me for 11 000 and then enclosed a Truth in Lending Statement saying I had borrowed the full 11 000 The Amount Financed box of the Truth in Lending statement clearly read 11 000 I contacted them and verified that they had already sent the 5 500 to the builder depriving me of any opportunity to withhold payment until the job was satisfactorally completed or had even begun it had not in fact the Contractor was till in possession of my down payment check just setting it up in their books To add insult to injury according to the Contract I had to repay the full 11 000 within the 2 years to qualify for the 0 interest If I didn t the Truth in Lending Statement said I would pay 18 83 interest but I being an accountant did the math and the true interest rate is closer to 34 Not only that but the 5 500 I had contracted to borrow mysteriously grew to 11 000 over the 2 year interest free period at an interest rate of around 32 which was not included in the APR or anywhere in the calculations Word of Warning 2 Don t believe anything that isn t in writing The Judge won t so why should you Both the Contractor and Greensky confirmed to me that the 5 500 had already been paid and when I asked about the OTHER 5 500 they both told me that the Truth in Lending Statement is detailing the costs as if I borrowed the full 11 000 But I replied I am not and the Truth in Lending Statement clearly states 11 000 is being paid to the Contractor on your behalf So given that the Truth in Lending Statement is misrepresenting the amount being borrowed the amount being paid to the Contractor and the interest rate just what in the Truth in Lending Statement is true They wouldn t answer that question I put a stop payment on the down payment check contacted the builder and told them to cancel the contract and I would be glad to explain all this to a Judge

Everyone if your reading this review Let us all start letting everyone you know that Greensky got caught by the federal government ripping consumers off by having the merchant signup customers and Greensky didnt check it because they were too busy bringing in millions of dollars Lookup at Bbb Greensky in red and do a search on Google You will see they were fined 9 million and 2 5 million fees respectively If you call Greensky they dont know anything about it Greensky is a company that feeds off the merchant company then the merchant swindles the customer then Greensky uses all tactics to say it is between the merchant and you There merchant Palmetto Bath is a disgrace bathroom company that installed acrylic showers that leak badly Made a complaint to Greensky and they said it was between me and merchant but they paid the merchant in full GREENSKY IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE

I am being charge 170 00 a month just for interest So I went to get larger amount on my credit card so I could pay off this loan Come to find out that they will not accept credit card payments WTH I made the mistake of signing a tablet I was no aware of the loan and the tactics for one month after I signed the tablet My floors were already in by that time I just want to pay off the loan I feel so stupid for allowing this to happen and listening to the sales person from Refloor
