Premium Plan with wasted time customer service asking for access to FTP not troubleshooting samples not logs reviews etc

The concept is good but

The concept is good but too many technical issues definitely cause more harm than good All of the translated subdomains are unavailble at least 50 of the time causing your website to be penalized on Google Search which makes this service harmful instead of being a way to attract foreign people from all around the world The Support Team is quick to answer but rarely provides an effective solution to your problems and they notice issues only if you report to them For example if they happen to forget to update their SSL Certificates and therefore all your subdomains lose HTTPS support if you don t notify them about this rest assured your translated pages will be unavailable forever or at least until you check them As webmasters and content creators we need efficient and stable systems to focus on important projects we can t waste our time checking the translated pages every day and spending time to contact the assistance all the time I m sorry but I have to tell people to stay way from gtranslate io it s completely unefficient and not technically prepared to prevent basic common IT issues Review coming from a customer of gtranslate for over 5 years

platform has been hacked and compromised Since 28 November i detected an attack now i get porno links on my translations inside the platform but the support did nothing about it Already i posted a lot of times but support didn t fix it and simply ignore it

Support is useless sorry to say When the question gets a bit technical you get answers that are complete nonsense Services work but their support needs to get some serious technical understanding

And so they got another one one star Useless helpdesk service 15 days trial - it was all about fixing bugs as the application is not ready to work instantly Then when they finally got it working I had to pay Did not have much of a trial like that So I asked for an extensions as I want to experience first if it really is working properly They said 15 days trial is only for new subscribers Well TRIAL is a trial time to use it and see how it all works if the trial is not working you still owe me a trial so I can make an informed decission Total lack of service here No wonder all those one star ratings

After having spent some time utilizing GTranslate s services for translating my website I ve come across some potentially detrimental practices that I feel need to be brought to the attention of potential users It is my sincere hope that this review provides some valuable insight and helps fellow web administrators make an informed decision before opting for GTranslate When I first began using GTranslate I was initially satisfied with its performance The translation quality was decent and it appeared to be a quick solution to making my website accessible to a broader audience However the issues arose a week into its use To my dismay I discovered that GTranslate had blocked the robots txt file The implications of this are far-reaching The robots txt file plays a vital role in determining how search engine crawlers navigate your website By blocking this GTranslate essentially renders all your translated content unindexed This means that all the content that was previously available and indexed by search engines will be removed from their listing This can negatively impact your website s SEO ranking making your content harder to discover organically by the international audience you were trying to reach One might wonder why GTranslate would implement such a practice From my observations and understanding it appears that this is an attempt by GTranslate to reduce the load on their servers As users access the translated content GTranslate s servers are hit with requests potentially without them having a clear picture of the user profiles involved While this is a logical server management strategy from their end the ramifications for website owners are far from beneficial In my experience the blocking of the robots txt file resulted in significant losses in traffic and adversely impacted my website s visibility This was far from the outcome I had envisioned when I decided to use GTranslate to make my site more user-friendly for non-English speaking audiences So to any fellow website owners considering using GTranslate s services I urge you to think carefully While it might initially seem like a good solution for translation needs the repercussions on your website s visibility and SEO are significant If you re keen on maintaining your website s health and digital footprint you might want to reconsider using GTranslate It may save you a lot of trouble in the long run

After using it for months I can confirm all the negative reviews and I m incredibly disappointed I d rate this tool zero stars if I could It s utterly useless Please don t waste your money Trust those who ve already tested it and regretted spending on it The customer service is ineffective and the developer s attitude is downright rude What a shame Why throw away your money Let me clarify Setting up the software often leads to problems If they occur which happens most of the time be prepared to fix them If your website remains unscathed consider yourself lucky To reap the benefits you must submit the translated pages to Google for indexing If you skip this step it ll be futile But there s a catch Google either doesn t index them at all or only indexes a tiny portion rendering it useless This app is ineffective The reason as confirmed by the developer is the poor translation quality I confirmed this issue with my native language Consequently Google finds the translated pages uninteresting refusing to index them making them invisible This software is utterly worthless It might even harm your website because Google could interpret the poorly translated pages as subpar content leading to potential penalties Essentially you re paying to have your website penalized by Google If you encounter this issue they might initially claim that Google takes time to index pages fair enough But if you bring it up again after two months rendering their excuse invalid they ll offer to translate the pages for an additional fee Unbelievable You re already paying for a useless service and they want to extract more money from you In fact using this service had a negative impact Despite my default language being English and 99 9 of my customers originating from English-speaking countries this software didn t attract new customers Instead it damaged my SEO with poorly translated pages causing website disruptions that took a week to rectify Trust those who ve tested it this software is rubbish It employs the free version of Google Translate known for its inaccuracies It s almost 2024 they could have used AI or any better translation software which is mandatory for this kind of service but I suppose that wouldn t be as profitable for them Hence they continue offering this awful and worthless service DO NTO WASTE YOUR MONEY
