Hats off to the Guru support teams for a successful migration

I recently had to migrate a customer website to a new host against a tight deadline Despite having over two decades in the IT trade website migrations still fill me with dread So full marks to the support and migrations teams at Guru for making the whole process swift and painless for all of us Their communication was top notch - they responded quickly to all the many questions I threw at them and provided clear concise and helpful updates at every step of the process And extra points are due because the migrations team told me they only do migrations Mon-Thurs So they have clearly taken the old IT adage of never go live on a Friday and baked it into their business practices Well done everyone and thanks again

I ve been using Guru to host my client sites for several years and apart from the great hosting service the customer care makes the difference A recent issue with migrating a site was resolved by James who went above and beyond to help on what was an urgent migration Definitely recommend these guys

I have been with Guru for around 3 years running a dedicated sever Over those years every single time I have needed support they have been superb Mike Sam Ivan David Tom Erich no matter the support lvl they have always been 1st class Highly recommend at a service level As for the cache Google Page Scores Litespeed can sometimes be difficult however if optimised correctly can achieve 98 99 scores for every page Very happy with both Guru and Litespeed

The Staff are Incredible Can t fault the support team at Guru one bit No problem is too big or too small they always investigate and provide lots of information on an issue even if not directly related to their systems

GURU hosting always go above and beyond and as a web designer with many clients wouldn t trust another hosting company with my business If you need hosting I d recommend GURU as I do to anyone who asks me about hosting I tell my clients I ll only manage their websites as long as they host with GURU Great quick and efficient service from the support team which has actually taught me to be a better web designer in the process

Goodbye 123-Reg Hello Guru

I was with my previous hosting company TsoHost for more than a decade until they were recently acquired by 123-Reg and the customer service standards plummeted As an aside avoid 123-Reg - they took over a week to answer my last support ticket I spent several days researching alternative hosting companies eventually settling on Guru I then signed up for an account late yesterday morning I m writing this review just over twenty-four hours later and all five of my websites are now safely on Guru s servers as are all my email accounts The migration service was superbly supported and surprisingly painless A few minor gremlins have subsequently come to light but my support tickets were answered within twenty minutes and the gremlins dealt with almost immediately It s early days but I suspect it ll be at least another decade before I have to change hosting provider again Oh and one final piece of advice - if your website is important to your business don t scrimp when it comes to the hosting provider Guru might not be the cheapest but so far they ve more than proven their worth

Probably the best hosting service in the UK

I ve been with Guru for 2 and a half years and I can easily say this is the best hosting service I have used Professional polite and friendly they work swiftly and go above and beyond when issues arise I have a reseller account and the server has a great uptime with hardly any server-side issues Give Guru a try you won t regret it Highly recommended
