Review of legitimate Investment experience with Halcyon RetreatBased on my personal experience as an investor Investment Timeline and Experience Initial investment made in 2019Original construction timeline promised 24 monthsCurrent status Significant delays beyond initial timeline and several false promises made and no commitment followed through This company has regularly made promises and never delivered Please be very careful if thinking of investing you have to get legal advice and obtain as much collateral backing as you can in the form of Directors personal guarantees and the like but it may not help you Best to look elsewhereI have had serious communication challenges experienced throughout project and many false promises made Primary Concerns Project DelaysConstruction timeline has extended well beyond original 24-month projection significantly and thorough research has to be done into these as its not just a COVID reason there s more to this than that in my opinion Little or NO detailed updates about completion datesUnclear impact of delays on investment terms but again many false promises being made and word not kept Contract ImplementationBuyback clause interpretation differs from initial presentationExit timeline now linked to new investment and completion date rather than my investor investment date this effectively extends investment lockup period indefinitely and I am seeing no signs of my ROI only false promises Always communication Issues excuses and responses to inquiries often delayed by weeks on end Updates about construction progress inconsistentQuestions about timeline changes not adequately addressedMy personal outcome to date is that I am still awaiting resolution of investment extended timeline impacts my own future financial planning and my hope of getting my investment back looks to be bleak if not non -existent Uncertainty about final completion date and the financing to actually complete the deal Based on my experience I recommend potential investors Carefully review all contract termsSeek independent legal adviceDo a full and thorough backgrounf check on all Directors and any Investment comapnies and their terms Get all promises in writingConsider the impact of potential delays on your own investmentUnderstand exact terms of exit clauses and again get everything in writing and legally checked by a qualifies Lawyer in the investment and construction field This review reflects my personal experience and opinion All statements are based on my direct interaction with the company and documented communications Please be careful sometimes what looks and sounds like a good deal turns out to be a very bad deal

Invested in Halcyon Retreats Developments ten years ago with a promise of an8 return on my investment which did not materialise In 2019 requested my money back under the the terms of our contract A tiny amount was received The director Alan Bird has spoken to me on the phone and promised monthly repayments the first of which was to paid today 09 05 25 All I have received is a phone call from Mr Bird asking for more time this million pound company doesn t have the resources to pay me These lies have gone on for years DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY

My husband and I invested with this company 10 years ago with a promise of an 8 return on our investment This did not materialise so in 2019 we invoked the long stop clause in our contract which meant we were entitled to a full refund of all monies paid For the last 6 years we have been ignored lied to and promised all sorts yet still we wait and are told next week next month Do not invest with this Company they lie and will cheat you out of your hard earned money I have posted this review before but took it down as they told me they would pay but they haven t

My parents invested in this company 10 years ago with a promise of an 8 ROI This has not been realised and hence in 2019 in line with their Contract they requested their funds back THEIR MONEY HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED and they keep getting fobbed off with excuses and promises that it will be sent next week My parents are retired and relied on this investment to pay out which it hasn t and now need to put their capital somewhere safe and reliable but these SCAMMERS just keep fobbing them off with excuse after excuse Their Director and person with significant control of the business Alan Bird is registered with over 150 businesses on companies house a lot of which are dormant companies with little or no net assets - where is the money going what are all these companies We re happy to share the details of our 6 years of misery chasing these people for my parents hard earned money
