I would just like a say a massive thank you to Kelly in the car insurance customer service team I was over charged on a cancellation fee and was on the phone to Halifax everyday to get this sorted No one helped me and I was promised multiple call backs but never had one I finally spoke to Kelly and she sorted it all out for me after just one phone call and phoned me back on the day she promised at a requested time of Monday evening Thank you so much Kelly and I hope your customer service skills are recognised Ask for Kelly if you feel you are not getting anywhere with this company the 5 stars are solely for Kelly not the ridiculous charges and poor service

Halifax car insurance were fantastic from start to finish Everything was simple and straightforward I needed to cancel my policy early due to a change of circumstances and they charged me no cancellation fee Brilliant Always friendly and helpful staff I bank with Halifax too Very happy customer to date

temporary cover for additional driver 336 for one week

I tried to add a temporary driver for one week with Halifax I have previously done this with Privilege and it cost 6 Temporary cover is not available with Halifax and it was quoted as an additional 336 which is outrageous as this was for the rest of the year

This online banking facility is pathetic Constant technical glitches mean alterations to standing orders cannot be confirmed as we could not contact you There is absolutely nothing wrong with my telephone landline nor mobile Similarly payments made remain uncertain Repeated requests to try again later Telephoned sevreral mins to get through menu then wait over 2 mins but still no contact with anyone after 8mins Just hopeless

Should have read the trustpilot reviews before sigining up to halifax car insurance absolutely dreadful service the worst i ve ever received from a car insurance supplier no price match no attempt to keep a paying customer cancellation fee that i ve never ad elsewhere no compassion for people s situations just entice you in then screw you once you re signed up all these adverts they show about caring for people is a load of crap as long as they re paid they couldn t give a damn NEVER EVER USING HALIFAX FOR ANYTHING AGAIN
