The problem with small firms
Fitted a new ATAG boiler which leaked then failed to keep the appointment to mend it due to illness Told us to go elsewhere when we complained

threatened by company
We have only been able to write this review recently due to being threatened by this company 4 5 years ago Our family friend landlord asked HDM Utilities to fit a new shower This took months of coming and going left us with no shower use for months and a lot of excuses from them Every time The workman entered the property the house would be left in an awful mess Screws left and other small pieces at the time we had a 2 year old The front and back garden was left in a mess We understood we needed to help tidy up but this amount of mess was ridiculous After we complained we felt extremely threatened when we were told if we complained at all or left any reviews they would go to all the estate agents and stop us from being able to rent anywhere in Harrogate This email that was written to our landlord family friend was extremely aggressive and threatening towards myself and my husband Be cautious using this company We were a young family with a young child both working parents We were always considerate and kind to the man helping on this job so didn t deserve this awful behaviour from them Absolutely awful company

Appalling experience
Completely took advantage of my elderly parents who paid hundreds of pounds to repair the boiler they installed incorrectly Complained to the company and asked for parents to be reimbursed as they had to pay another company to fix the boiler They responded with the lengthiest techy unhelpful email and no refund

Absolute disgrace of a company
Absolute disgrace of a company The treatment of my elderly parents was completely unacceptable and I am now being ignored when an acknowledgement of their failures and an apology would go a long way Thankfully in terms of their work it looks like they have done us a favour by not completing the job they quoted for Definitely would not recommend
