Absolutely impossible to contact
I was referred to a hospital that takes me two hours to get to I had left in plenty of time but I had train cancellations and delays With 1 15 hours ahead of time I called to let them know I was going to be 10 minutes late that I was still continuing on my journey but I understand if that means I can t be seen I needed to know so I could turn back if it wasn t possible I called for the entire duration of my journey and still wasn t answered I had no way of informing the hospital staff that appointment was now available for someone else or seeing if there was a chance I could still make it I travelled for 1 45 hours because it was an urgent scan and I wanted to try and make it but had to turn around and come back wasting working time and losing money I m freelance and there was absolutely no way to speak to someone I even requested a callback at 11am and the next day still haven t received a call Such terrible service at least have an urgent chat or email that you can contact and get a response from as often issues arise unexpectedly and uncontrollably I don t want to waste NHS time or my own but not being contactable at all to patients is really poor form and creates wasted appointments and journeys Also call your patients back if you have a callback service

Uncontactable never answer the phone awful
Received a text advising an ultrasound had been booked for 21st June but that happened to fall on a family member s wedding day Called the number provided to try and rearrange a message repeatedly told me I was in position 2 in the queue but after around 20 minutes a pre-recorded messages tell me that nobody is available and the call cuts off I received this text on 24th May 2024 and it is 18th June 2024 today I have attempted to call them 12-15 times to rearrange and every single time I am in queue position 2 and nobody ever answers I even called the head office number from Healthshare s website was transferred to someone else and a pre-recorded message told me I was in queue position 16 so I was unable to hang on I have sent a message through the Contact Us form on the website and have had no response back Even my GP has tried to contact them to alter the referral and so far they have been unsuccessful Inevitably they are going to discharge me for missing the appointment and this will delay my treatment process Absolute awful healthcare provider and they offer a strong case for not allowing provide healthcare providers to handle NHS patients

I would give Healthshare Zero if I could After I complete this review I will be making a formal complaint to the Care Quality Commission I have been trying for 2 years YES 2 YEARS to get my achilles tendon either Xrayed an Ultrasound and instead of actually seeing someone medically qualified the GP sends my referral to Healthshare who then send me a link which makes me watch videos and asks absurd questions over and over again 2 years later I have still not had an Xray or Ultrasound and on some days I can barely walk This morning I was on hold for almost an hour to get to speak to someone who said they could not find my referral and then put me on hold for another 20 minutes Eventually I find they did find my referral letter from the GP but seemed to think sending a link to the videos and questionaires ticked their box of providing service My GP wanted me to see an orthopaedic surgeon and for me to have an Ultrasound and Healthshare has told me they will provide me neither of these without me seeing a person who they cannot verify is medically qualified I think if I have to speak to these people again I will have a nervous breakdown

Not a hospital just a clinic
Shocking private patient care Winchester Healthshare cancelled my Hand Arthroscopy just days before I was due to come into the hospital Apparently they do NOT have the facilities to care for patients with complex medical history albeit thsi was a simple and routine procedure I was also told they are just a clinic and not a hospital I do understand and am grateful they informed me before putting me at risk however why didn t they tell me this 43 days ago when my surgery was booked and why isn t it clear on their website that they do not have proper hospital facilities YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

This is a very amateur operation
I wasted about an hour on the phone over three calls most of the time waiting to try and establish the location of the scan I was to have Each time I was told that I would receive a letter by mail a week and again two days before the scan I never received the letters Eventually I had to insist that the receptionist give me the location and it was she who told me how to prepare for the scan This is a very amateur operation yet this American based company is set to take over swaths of the NHS Heaven help us

Poor communication
Referred to Healshare via the NHS for pain management Was seen by Ralph Roger s who was very pleasant and a plan put in place After waiting 5 weeks I have been in touch to find out healthshare has been taken over and no longer seeing nhs patients If I had not called I would be none the wiser Why did I not have an apologetic letter advising there is no longer a contract with the nhs

Waste of resources time and pain
GP referral as required xray for shoulder rotary cuff injury Had to wait for Healthshare referral who called to say I needed an xray why can t just be referred for xray by GP such a waste of time when in pain Had the xray waited weeks for someone to call to say needed to make an appointment to discuss outcome of my xray Waited weeks for that appointment when I could see the outcome in my nhs app - for call to tell me what that said to then discuss treatment plan Said I needed intense physio or injections agreed to start with intense physio - waited weeks for appointment At a dance studio in Hextable met my physio who told me to stand up stretch up to the side and sit Said in one sentence I have sent you some exercises that you need to do i will see you in November and you need to buy a band and dumbbells have a good day Complete waste of time effort and resources NO physio whatsoever and months now with calcification in my shoulder that needs intense physioIn contrast saw GP for ongoing hip pain last week referred to Darent valley for xray next day - that night outcome on nhs app saw gp and arthritis and soft tissue A need a referral - yep you guessed it to Healthshare much quicker outcome initially but now looking forward to weeks of waiting in constant pain unableTo walk some days or work for an email of exercises

Poor services
I ve been calling this clinic for a month without getting a response The last time I managed to speak with a staff member was on 12 10 24 I was told that someone would call me back for my pre-op checkup but I never received a call Today after my ninth attempt someone finally answered and informed me that I d been discharged and that they d written to my GP on 03 10 24 When I mentioned my previous conversation on 12 10 24 in which I was told I was still scheduled for a pre-op checkup they asked for the details of my surgery and the time of my call This was after they had just claimed they had already informed my GP The lack of communication and consistency here highlights the poor service This is private healthcare funded by the NHS to help reduce waiting lists yet the quality of service is unacceptable I m not the only one with this experience just read other reviews I will be reaching out to the NHS to recommend they reconsider sending patients to this clinic

Doesnt have the staff inadequate
After being referred to Healthshare for a scan by my NHS team I was asked to call and book an appointment That call involved 3 hours on the phone waiting I have also had to move my appointment twice due to their lack of availability Finally came the appointment day and while on route in a taxi I was called to tell me that they do not have the staff so my appointment has been cancelled I have given up Healthshare has been so difficult to deal with that I am no longer going to seek any help for this condition any more I am also asking my NHS team to consider my experience before referring anyone else to this inadequate team
