The worst service I have ever recieved
If I could give 0 stars I would Eon are the worst heating supplier I have ever had Their customer service is shocking and I have had so many problems since moving in it is unreal Because we cannot change supplier the incentives to support us well are zero for Eon We regularly have the heating cut out and have to wait over two weeks for an engineer to be available They did not replace my meter and then charged me for heat I didn t use because the heating was broken despite me informing them that the meter was broken - then when I complained they said there was nothing they could do If they say they will contact you they never will If you are thinking of moving to an estate supplied by Eon heat I would say categorically DON T - you will be trapped into a place with no options and incredibly poor service

Rip off Merchants Part 2
Wrote about this awful company in November last year about a problem with the meter clocking up loads of kwhs when the property is empty Finally got an engineer to the house on 19th December who immediately said that the meter wasn t the problem and didn t really have an answer as to what was wrong with the HIU Unit He fitted an AMR additional Meter Readings piece of kit which did illustrate that the units keep clocking up when nobody is in the property Didn t hear from EON until the end of January despite calling again and again only to be told that they want to switch off the electricity at source to ensure that the thermostats are not working even though they are turned off at the wall No mention of even trying to see if their so called Smart Meter is at all at fault by changing this first If they think it is the thermostats that are causing the problem then we would have to dispute the bills with the third party who installed the thermostats completely and utterly ridiculous - anything to avoid taking responsibility themselves You would think that they would try changing the meter to see if this corrected the issue rather than tamper with third party equipment and then if they dont work after turning the electricity off then no doubt EON will say we have to pay for new ones I have refused them turning off the electricity and insist that the meter be changed as the first port of call We are just told that the engineer doesn t think it is the meter causing the issue but there is no explanation as to how he came to this conclusion Utterly disgraceful - been going on for 4 plus months

EON HEAT Read and claim refunds from compensation section on the
Be aware to read refunds section on the eon heat website Eg 30 a day up to 500 for long outages also if you have more than 4 outages a month I m receiving bills that go up multiple times a month and I ve now been informed that if I use normal immersion and it works it means heat interface unit is switched off as in i have never got a pennys worth of energy I asked to switch tarif told im on right one according to usage they have never had a reading as i cant find where i asked to stop the contract they said no i cant I read ombudsman cant help with eon heat Im going to take this further heat bill is 100 per month for no bendfit Ive asked for engineer got ignored in email contact As I live in a new build never need heat btw but need aircon in summer via normal energy eon

I have exactly the same problem as the
I have exactly the same problem as the very first person on page 1 I wasn t able to take a meter reading till now but while talking to eon heat they let slip the meter progresses itself and mine has an E before the figures does this mean estimate Always use immersion heater as first person said and they told me this means eon heat is not switched on Recently they have billed 2x a month with massive bills I m actually afraid they will not be honest and I ve been paying for over 10 yrs CLASS ACTION NEEDED

Eon are very expensive
Eon are very expensive They are not one of the better energy giants and their credit team use bully tactics if you are struggling to pay however if you ever need anything sorting out ask for Gill who works on the eon heat team She is amazing an angel and will go above and beyond to get things sorted with speed She s been a God send sorting my heat accout out

Ongoing Issue with EON - Worst Company Ever
Still waiting for my ongoing issue of being charged for kwhs when not living in the property to be resolved Issue has been ongoing for over 6 months EON do not want to admit that their equipment is at fault and have advised me to take the matter up with the company that manufactured the socket on the wall which turns their equipment on and off They fitted an additional meter reader which worked for all of 4 weeks - but apparently their equipment is not at fault Hilarious The company goes from bad to worse Just ripping people off and don t want to actually resolve any issues - customer service appear to be clueless Took additional monies from my bank account via direct debit with no notification whatsoever Will not be paying another penny and will have to take this to Ombudsman as refuse to pay for something I have not had the benefit of

If I could give minus I would We have a unit not fit for purpose and every time an engineer comes out it s still not fixed Over priced and appalling customer service Wish we didn t have to use them Stuck with them It should be put out to tender so maybe another company could do a better job because they know customers don t have another choice so really don t care and feel like we are being laughed at as customers

Terrible service

Absolute Time Wasters
Absolute Time Wasters Spent 2hrs at my home to give me a quote for a heat pump chased them for 3 weeks afterwards and no replies to emails Excuses excuses and then said they couldn t give me a quote as they forgot to get a photo of the insulation and needed evidence of the insulation to give me a quote ABSOLUTE TIME WASTERS
