Several mistakes already done from Helan Last time it took them over a month to reply saying the document wasn t correct when it was Most reimbursement take over a month compared to securex and Partena Not worth it at all All of their trust pilot replies seem so kind and say they will resolve the problem absolutely nothing changes or is done about it Helan has become the worst health insurance in Belgium

HELAN DOES IT AGAIN NON EXISTING RESPECT FOR MEMBERS
Helan reacts to my very upset comment about an appointment in their office Brasschaat Reminder first they are impossible to reach for an appointment That is not a surprise with Helan Eventually they give me a DATE BUT NO TIME THE SAME DAY THEY CANCEL THE APPOINTMENT SUPPOSEDLY AT 3 PM DESPITE MY MANY REQUESTS FOR THE TIME OF THE APPOINTMENT THEY AGAIN NEVER ANSWERED THE ONLY ANSWER I RECEIVE IS APPOINTMENT CANCELED BACK TO ZERO The online Helan customer service is a complete joke and extremely standard The chat is useless I NEED URGENT ADVICE PERSONAL ADVICE IN BRASSCHAAT OFFICE Going again through the online jungle is obviously the same nightmare I insist that they take responsibility for never communicating the time of the appointment and demand a decent treatment instead of blaming me for their non functioning online services again it seems that Helan does not take accountability I URGENTLY DEMAND A DECENT REPLY WITH A DAY AND TIME OF THE APPOINTMENT THEY CANCELED THIS TIME WITH DAY AND TIME OF DAY A company specialized in healthcare Maybe but definitely not interested in taking care of members

Horrible
Horrible I signed up for the health insurance 4 months ago and I still didn t receive it Eveytime I contact them they say I never sent them my papers and they request them again I sent them my documents 5 times and they are not answering my mails anymore They also lied my friend about the price of the insurance saying that it s gonna be free but they keep sending her unjustified receipts that were not mentioned in the contract with random charges and they don t reply to her mails

Helan is the worst
I got double charged 150 euros and they still haven t responded I also received 2 conflicting pieces of mail telling them how much I owe per quarter which I also asked about and have no response even tho I have to pay by tomorrow Jan 12 I asked them to send mail in English but they don t care about their clients at all and I have no choice but to switch since I am a student Avoid at all costs this company blows

Caution Helan Household service titres-services to be avoided Very unprofessional extremely impolite It s about sending a cleaner to a house every week yet some ladies at the administration don t seem to have anything else to do but mob customers until they leave - less work for them then probably One big hassle Waste of money and precious time

I have the insurance
I have the insurance and first doctors and drugstores can t find me automatically so I need to go through the hassle of asking for paper receipts and taking it to them I then put many receipts in ONE envelope and they ve covered a couple and ignored a couple When I questioned them they said that they never got it and that it may have gotten lost in the mail First of all I put it straight in their mailbox so it got lost under their hands second and most important how can they receive only a part of the receipts if they were in the same envelope Now they want me to go and pick up the original documents again I don t have time for this and they are the ones who lost it so it s not my fault or responsibility If you don t work with electronic documents which is so 1980 and you have lost the ones that I carefully handed to you then please take care of it I do not recommend their service as this is not how a customer should be treated Update I got the message bellow Couldn t find you on Facebook at all and I had already contacted you through the my helan contact form and the answer I got was that it must have gotten lost in the mail and that I should send you the original paper documents Update 2 Not only the experience is bad it s been awful and getting worse I get no direct responses to my questions I now got 2 different invoices with a very incomplete explanation of that that cost is for The app lets us chose the language that we want to receive communications in we chose English and get everything in Dutch But even with translation the explanation of costs is very incomplete and shallow My emails get very general and avoidand replies You ask me on your update to send you the doctor s names but I had already done more than that I have sent you pictures of the docto s and the drugstores receipts But what I get then is being told that I need to go to the pharmacy and pick up the original document and send it to you Well first of all why should I waste my time and money driving to doctors and to your mailbox to send original document when I already did that once Also there s not even a guarantee that those won t be lost again that Helan won t deny again having ever received them but anyway it s not my role to do anything about this for a second time if I did it all right the first time and you were the ones who have lost it It was under your care and responsibility Also I got no explanation to why doctors and pharmacists can t find my name under my record number which doesn t allow then to file the receipts eletronically when everyone else has that service Why is it that today I was told that it s because I owe Helan money- well the invoice is dated from today so I didn t owe anything until today so still no explanation- and it s not due until the 15th of march which means I am not in debt correct It is beyond sad that I cannot trust and lean on my health insurance for anything rather than being a huge resource of stress and waste of time It is very disappointing I come from a 3rd world country and find it embarassing to have to go through this hassle and still feel like I am not any closer to solving this issues PLEASE HELP I AM TIRED OF THIS Updating once again not aligned with the reply here which says just give us the names and we will provide the documents Helan treats this as if it was nothing saying it must have gotten lost during scanning again under THEIR CARE AND REAPONSABILITY and asks me to go and pick up the receipts again and take those into their mailbox as if my time by gas my parking money meant nothing I feel like a real clown This is so disrespectful and dishonest actually In the meantime I have no hopes of being reimbursed so soon I find it embarrassing for a company to treat clients like this I still have no explanation to why doctors and drugstores can t file my invoices automatically but the fact is that I am still subject to have to deliver documents to their mailbox like in the 1800 s and still be treated like it never reached them

if you think about becoming a customer of helan here is your warning
Had no issues with Helan up until the point where I needed them Had a stroke in November 23 Having nothing but trouble stress and cost thanks to helan since for example I got out of hospital in January started Physio-Therapy right away and still have a long way to go in therapy for example I can barely walk a kilometer without having pain for literally days but up until today may helan has not reimbursed one single cent of the therapy cost but created a lot of cost for me in that time by for example sending me to mandatory appointments in another city in spite of me being not being able to get there out off my own power I can t tell if they treat me so badly because I m a foreigner or if they just treat all their customers inhumanely and without any compassion

The only positive contact with them is
The only positive contact with them is when you sign up and get a bill to pay After that it s hard to make an appointment and they don t reply by email until after 2 weeks and only to have you send another document even though you ve already presented it in Mon Helan a month earlier And so the weeks go by Either they have a mess in their documents or that s their policy

DO NOT USE THEIR CLEANING SERVICES HORRIBLE AND A RIP OFF I CANNOT EVEN CANCEL THE CONTRACT AND THEY WILL CHARGE YOU X10 more AND PUNISH YOU IF YOU GET SICK AND NEED TO CANCEL CLEANING Disgusted If I could give them a 0 I would they would rather send their employees to a sick household and if the household refuses punish you with contractual fines
