Request a refund on steam
Last February 9th I made a purchase In their website they but you can go back any item but it s a lie It won t let you return the game even though I haven t been able to use the game or install it Just the fact of requesting the refund and being able to contact support has been an odyssey The worst is that their response just says that my request does not meet their refund policy but I have made sure that it does since I didn t use it the game doesn t work in my computer and I haven t been able to use it their response was only 20 minutes after buying it so Also they say that they answer support messages in less than 24 hours but it s a lie too they take days and they make yes or no answers and in another language to try to confuse and bore you It has been even worse after detailing my experience for the second time for a support ticket and requesting a refund again they have responded again in other language after several days The answer has nothing to do with my request you see a copy and paste of something that has nothing to do with it I warn other gamers about the bad intentions of this platform and I recommend many others that are more modern and honest Steam only thinks about making money and has become an obsolete ugly old platform and above all ineffective in solving the problems of its community Regrettable Be very careful when buying games on this platform they boast of something they lack

I have paid over 900 for the Valve
I have paid over 900 for the Valve Index which turned up does not work properly and steam are insisting that I pay the 60 to send it back to the Netherlands Worst experience IV ever had of vr is with this terrible hardware When running at 120hz or 144hz there is a tearing in the right eye lens screen It means that roughly half the left half of the right eye is Off-set very slightly from the other half Glitches with fizzy graphical defects appearing Jitters constantly Please see the attached image showing the vertical tearing I am seeing attached images taken with my phone from inside the headset I have circled it in black so obviously ignore that bit as I added it to highlight it and can testify that it is far more pronounced when actually waring the headset I m really unhappy with this and want it to work at all hertz as my computer is top of the range and more than capable of doing it Further to this there is so much glare on the Les sea I have to squint while looking at bright areas during gameplay It so bad it forms a visible fog over the lenses themselves ruining any chance of reaching immersion Now they expect ME to pay for the return shipping

Multiple accounts lots purchase no flexibility
We ve got two accounts One for me one for my kid In the beggining we purchased on wrong account a few games Of course the steam is not helpful to move games between my accounts This way we cannot separate our games The poor customer service said that we can share the family library So we can play with each others games Just they forgot to mention that when I play with one game on my library he cannot play with an another game from my library So the family share is useless Same time we cannot play with 2 separate games Why Honestly This is ridiculuous

Bought a game for 49 99 game has issues and was refused a refund the same day i purchased it
Bought a game for 49 99 my pc is much higher than the min requirements but the games server is far to out of date for the time I spent 2 hours playing around with my pc setting to try and get the game to run smoother but in the end I decided i dont want to play a game that shutters all the time so I requested a refund my play time which was spent messing around with settings to get it to run smoother was 2 4 hours steam declined my request for a refund because my play time was over 2 hours so now I ve payed 49 99 for a game I wont play Buy from game com instead the steam support is awful and I dont recommended using them

I have been playing steam games for many years but now in my seventies and slowed down with age which means I can no longer play multiplayer games and game makers no longer make single player games Please stop the greed persuade games makers to make single player games for people of my age don t put us on the scrap heap

Account locked - Getting only bot answers
My account has been locked out for months and it s impossible to get in touch with any human agent All I m getting is generic automated answer It s impossible to contact them and they don t care about whatever your write to them the answer is always pre-formatted and often off-topic This might all be AIs answering the tickets or maybe real human that have to handle 120 tickets per hours so they end up behaving like robots anyway I don t know But the thing is that I spent thousands of dollars and hours into my account and have been a user for over 15 years A total shame from Steam on how they treat their long time dedicated customers You d better pray to not have trouble with your account because once you do that s where the real trouble start
