NOT a full service airline beware
Booked HK Express from HKK to BKK return Had to transfer from a different airline in BKK to return to HK on this airline One of our party stood in line for HK Express to advise that we were coming as we reached the counter we were informed that we missed the cutoff time by 4 minutes and we had booked premium tickets No assistance given to reschedule on same airline and were forced to buy all new one way tickets on Cathay at a cost of 599 Sent a note to refund HK Express tix that were not flown Today I got an automated message reminding me of the 1 hour cutoff time and that our taxes MIGHT be partially refunded everything else is down the drain Should have booked a proper airline to begin with Not worth it and lesson learned Buy Cheap which it actually even wasn t then BUY TWICE Expect Zero Service from HK Express even with paying for priority service--it does not exist

I recommend to use another airline For a 2 hour flight 1 suitcase costs 77us you don t have have the option to pay for a carryon suitcase so a 4kg carryon suitcase was also 77us find another airline

Worst Airline Garbage attitude of counter staff
Experience this in Naia terminal 3 flying to hongkong this is during my flight last October 14 around counter B10-B15 I m just asking about the baggage problem of their confusing ticketing option it was misleading the user interface is guiding you to make mistake on your booking and missed to get a proper luggage you need so have to inquire to resolve this but their counter crew are arrogant as well as the one standing to look on the queue I believe they are not happy assisting their customers They doesn t want to respond on queries Poor CS and garbage attitude it just reflect the airline quality I am frequent traveller and my first time to see this kind of CS of an airline so I have to say this too on my fist time review post I will never get all services with this airline I learnt that cathay is their subsidiary airline which I always get everytime we travel so will not get this airline too and other related to their companies My worst travel experience Will never ever use this airline even they offer it free

Worst company ever don t ever flight there I wouldn t not recommend to fly there are scammer and at the counter they want to take more money from you They made me pay extra for my small luggage that has the international sizes they make me pay almost the same price as my original ticket and the counter do not speak English unacceptable I had the horrible memories of this country

Website is trash Today at midnight I wanted to book a flight on HKexpress com When I was in the checkout I wanted to pay with my credit card I had to verify which succeeded but then it says an error had occured I tried it 4 times but every single time the payment failed I called my bank to check if it s the problem of my credit card but it wasn t at all It s the website Now I wanted to try it again 20 hrs later the tickets are more expensive now What I m not going to buy my tickets there anymore Trash company I swear

HK Express requires full exact names as on passport but do not make that clear at purchasing stage so they can charge you to make the amendment at the check in
HK Express is dreadful they are obviously only concerned about one thing squeeze as much money as they can get at every step of their process beware that they require you to input your full names EXACTLY as on the passport if you just input your middle initial or one of your middle names they will charge you another 350dollars to add the names as shown on your passport at the time of check in This is totally unacceptable when they are in control of asking and specifying clearly what they want at the time of ticket purchasing All they need to do is clearly state all names exactly as shown on your passport and people will follow Also how do they create a charge of 350 for inputting a few letters on their computer screen at check in CRAZY and very annoying should respect your clients as clients not just find every possible way to charge another penny

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience on a flight from Hong Kong to Taiwan During the flight I ordered pasta as my in-flight meal but it took over twenty minutes to be served Upon receiving the dish I found the pasta extremely hard and inedible When I brought this to the attention of the flight attendant she was equally surprised by the hard texture of the food Although the flight attendant was very polite and continuously apologized the issue was not effectively resolved She promised to prepare a new meal for me but after thirty minutes there was still no progress It seemed that the kitchen department failed to follow up on the issue and even the flight attendant didn t continue addressing it Despite there being few meal orders on the flight I was unable to enjoy any meal throughout the journey Eventually out of frustration as the flight was landing I was informed that a refund was not possible I was given two snacks as compensation but since I was experiencing stomach pain and unable to consume them I left feeling angry and upset Moreover I struggled to understand why on a flight with mostly Mandarin-speaking passengers a solely English-speaking flight attendant was assigned to handle communications My request to quickly replace the meal with another option was not heard and I spent the entire flight without food Upon disembarking another flight attendant informed me that the crew was new and inexperienced Several passengers seated nearby also noted the flight attendant s good attitude but observed her lack of problem-solving capabilities and even basic skills I am seriously disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of service provided during this flight I hope your company will address situations like this and improve in-flight services to enhance the overall flying experience for passengers

All budget airlines charge if you check a bag so I am not giving them one star because of that I am giving them one star because they charge about 100 to check a bag which is outrageous this isn t Monte Carlo and multiple people at check-in had bags that should ve passed by weight and size but they made them check the bags and pay for it
