Beware of the trial period end

Quite horrible experience The website won t let you get in touch with the property owner or renter unless you subscribe You get access by subscribing for a free trial period It is not so clearly specified that the contract will just continue and charge you directly after the free trial period instead that stopping and asking you if you want to continue for a fee when the trial period ends At some point you just receive a fee to pay on your email and the fee even increases over time if you do not pay immediately due to reminder costs seriously Beware set a reminder and manually end the contract before the trial period ends Obviously no reminders of this are sent to you only when you have to pay already Make sure you read the conditions properly and do not fall for it

Bills went to Spam

Emails with bills went to spam Did not even get a remeinder by post to pay they went directly to Intrum What a shame Also very arrogant customer service I immediately paid my dues today and now I have to deal with the scummy company Intrum OMG what hell for being their customer Never seen an institution that wont send a remeinder or 2 before sending to Intrum Shady as hell will never be their customer again That too for 39 95 CHF No that is so bad And the Intrum fees What I learnt is never to be a member of homegate again i d rather be homeless Note There is absolutely no point in being a premium member of their site None of the posters care whether you are a premium member or not Flatfox is much better and I found my home with that site anyway Homegate is also full of scams

keep away from that portal - they charge for 3 months premium 39 99 CHF but what they do not say is that they charge you EVERY month that amount This is soo bad - we are in Switzerland and the owner is a big company such behaviour is really bad

Be careful with what you buy

Be careful with what you buy expensive online ads are sold without expiration date meaning that homegate can invoice you for months in one time especially if you don t close your ad They should sell ads for a determined period of time like others But I guess this would prevent them to steal from inattentive customers

Beware of their shady tactics to take your money

Same as many other people here I fell victim of their scammy ways of making money They trick you into taking a trial membership of 7 days without any reminder to cancel it or even asking for a credit card to warn you that they ll be charging you One week later if you forgot to cancel this membership they ll charge you for the next 3 months Oh and the premium membership TenantPlus is totally useless in reality

AVOID homegate

Giving them one star as I can not give zero stars This site is a SCAM If you are too naive to login to tenant plus free trial and think because you didn t give any details your trial subscription will just expire you are wrong They start sending you bills even after cancelling subscription be because under their terms and conditions you get subscribed for 3 6 or X mints before moving to monthly subscription It seems they make money by scamming people AVOID this site

Worst agency worse customer support

As everyone already stated RUN RUN from homegate chWorst real state agency I have ever seen in my entire life Customer support is awful and not willing to understand its customer issues They rely and survive on people s mistakes while offering something that is not even worth it even if you wanted to pay for it Which I suppose nobody wants to after reading this reviews

Zero stars for using their supposedly free website

Could give zero They are just desperate to cheat running a scam business prying on innocent users Such a pity My add was on their website based on their poor customer service for less than 24hrs they are charging me 99 95 chf They must be really doing bad to stoop this low After repeated contacting them explaining myside Nothing Never using this phoney website again
