FALSE ADVERTISING AND OVERPRICED SHIPPING
I received a 25 gift card to home goods from a family member so I browsed around online and found a very lovely throw blanket Artelier Nicole Miller reversible Emma throw At the time the throw was on sale for 15 When I added it to my cart the shipping was 14 99 plus tax I ended up spending over my gift card amount on outrageous shipping prices After about two weeks I finally received my throw which looks absolutely nothing like the photo Instead of being a light cream and white color with some slight dark brown details it is white with brown and grey leopard print I understand some things can look slightly different from advertised photos but the photo of the throw has NO spots on it FALSE ADVERTISING and they trick you with the sales so you then have to pay OVERPRICED shipping unless you spend a crazy amount all at once Not a fan and will not be shopping here again

This company is the biggest scammer a I have ever meet First off it seems 90 of the items including paintings come directly from China Their inflated prices on this stuff is astronomical They support child labor by purchasing these goods from China They also are not the cheapest place around Do a search for housewares they have I found items cheaper at bestbuy Macy s and even bloomingdales They do not honor their return policy either and will make you drive a hundred miles back to where it was bought because their system doesn t always scan the receipt barcode they they claim they can t verify the receipt so refuse the return How is it that its the customers problem that you can t verify the receipt your company provided to me So I need to go from las Vegas back to San Clemente to return it Idts bunch of fraudsters for sure Avoid at all costs as well as tjmaxx marshalls etc They all do the same thing

BEWARE Do NOT purchase a gift card from HomeGoods
BEWARE I purchased a 100 dollar gift card for my son for Christmas and he lost the card I called HomeGoods 833-888-0776 and they said the card had not been used and still had a balance of 100 on it They refused to send me a new card because of company policy They are refusing to reissue me another gift card and are keeping my money I will never shop or purchase another item or gift card from this store again This is SO wrong

Home Goods employees and managers aren t friendly to their customers They careless attending their customers at the cashiers stand Their employees spent so much time talking to customers after a checkout completed while customers were waiting to be called or help One customer demanded a manager on duty to make a complaint about the attitude of one employee at the cashier stand Two of the employees said that the manager s on duty isn t available A woman stood up at the front cashier opened her mouth and said she was a manager After the two employees denied that a manager isn t available This manager name is Elizabeth a tall woman who seemed didn t care about the situation instead she protected and discredit the complainant Elizabeth the manager yelled at to the complaint who is the customer Home Goods customers s service is sucked Employees should be retrained for taking care their customers first They do have a break time and a lunch break where to spent time to talk and not while in the time of work where they get paid to attained the customers

The cashier named Lily humiliated me
The cashier named Lily Worst person I ever met in homegoods that I visit almost everyday She not only was rushing me to purchase but also humiliated infront of the next customer apologizing them for the delay I bought the items worth 267 won t it take time to move it to the counter and bill I was not even finished she asked the next person to put her things on the desk I was terribly insulted It looked like a racial discrimination Otherwise what is the reason And after I left the counter she was talking to the colleague in the next counter and nodding the head infront of the customer I am a regular customer I give atleast 800 to 1000 business quite often This is ridiculous I was brutally insulted Infront of my friend and other customers Kindly take action Watching her behavior from outside I was forced to come back and ask for her name She never had a badge She said rudely LILY Date and TIME June 2nd 06-02-2024 18 39 37STORE LOCATION TRACY MARKETPLACE2960 W GRANT LINE ROADTRACY CA 95304United States209-836-7009

Company is a fraud - do not order from them
If I could give this store a zero or negative I would I purchased two lamps based on inventory showing 12 available After two supposed orders for these lamps Home Goods still could not supply them and I canceled the order I have been told they refunded me but know this is true - my credit card company has not processed any credit from Home Goods I have made dozens of calls trying to get this resolved with no success This company is a fraud and should be out of business

Cancels orders for no reason
Placed an order for the first time last week Two days later I got an email saying the order had been cancelled No explanation nothing I placed the order again and wouldn t you know it same thing Tried calling their customer service and got a message saying they were closed I can t imagine having to work this hard just to give a company a sale Common courtesy would be to give the customer some idea of what the problem is but they obviously don t give a damn

Don t shop online horrible experience
I love shopping at the store but online is a horrible experience because I bought three items the first one was missing the screws the second item had a bunch of scratches on the side and the third itemWas completely something else Do not shop at home goods com the worst experience ever but go to the stores they have very good and beautiful home decor and other things

please do not use this site they have major problems with filling orders after accepting purchases
on 10 6 23 I ordered 6 counter chairs from Home Goods online site The order was accepted and pending charge listed on my credit card I was notified by email on 10 11 that we are working on order on 10 15 order cancelled with no explanation upon calling customer service informed of inventory error took 10 days to inform me they do not have item in stock
